    Dark Angel: Some Assembly Required
Believed to have been killed during Dark Angel's first season, Max's Manticore sibling Zack (William Gregory Lee) turns up alive (albeit minus a face) -- and he's determined to get revenge against Logan (Michael Weatherly), holding the crusading cyberjournalist responsible for the botched assault on Manticore headquarters. While searching for Zack in the nooks and crannies of Seattle, Max (Jessica Alba) confronts the Steelheads, a street gang specializing in stealing and peddling human organs. Another Manticore refugee, Alec (Jensen Ackles), may hold the key to the outcome of this episode, which includes "flashbacks" from the first-season installment "Cold Comfort." ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Boo
On Halloween night, the fugitive Manticore mutants are able to move freely through Seattle without attracting attention; after all, who's to know that their grotesqueries aren't merely masks and costumes? In the course of the evening, Max (Jessica Alba) clashes with a recalcitrant Manticore 'nomlie named Sally (Todd Stashwick), whose head and body are separate but equal nemeses. The climax revolves around the impending assassination of a resistance leader -- not to mention Rafer's (Kris Pope) growing awareness that Max is more than she seems to be. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Dark Angel: Medium is the Message
Logan (Michael Weatherly) places his life in jeopardy when he offers to rescue Ray (Brayden Bullen), the kidnapped son of single mother Wendy Olson (Emily Holmes). It turns out that both Ray and Wendy are inextricably linked to the trangens' mortal enemy, Ames White (Martin Cummins), who in turn harbors a secret that will have an enormous impact on future Dark Angel episodes. Meanwhile, Alec (Jensen Ackles) has determined that the artwork produced by doglike Manticore refugee Joshua (Kevin Durand) is good enough to steal. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Two
Logan (Michael Weatherly) is disturbed by reports that a huge, vicious canine-like human is attacking and killing sector police. The prime suspect is the Manticore fugitive Joshua (Kevin Durand), but he is innocent -- though he knows all too well the identity of the guilty party. Meanwhile, Max (Jessica Alba) and Alec (Jensen Ackles) continue trying to outfox one another, until Alec indicates that he has bigger fish to fry (and may get "fried" himself in the process) by landing a job at Jam Pony. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Radar Love
Max (Jessica Alba), Logan (Michael Weatherly), and Asha (Ashley Scott) try to track down the cause and cure for a Manticore virus that is sweeping Seattle. Herself infected, Max realizes that to continue her relationship with Logan would likely prove fatal to him; thus, she goes off with an old flame named Rafer (Kris Pope), a character introduced in the first-season episode "Meow." The outcome of the plot hinges on a "good samaritan" who is anything but. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Proof of Purchase
Using the alias "Monty Cora," shifty transgen Alec (Martin Cummins) has become the champ of an underground fight club -- but his newfound fame endangers Max (Jessica Alba) and the other Manticore escapees when relentless Agent White (Martin Cummins) catches on. Meanwhile, Logan (Michael Weatherly), aided by ex-Manticore minion Lydecker (John Savage), tries to prevent a virus created by evil lab tech Engel (Rob La Belle) from killing off Max and her genetically engineered comrades. And doglike Manticore refugee Joshua (Kevin Durand) cuts a violent swath through Seattle in his efforts to probe further into his "Sandeman" origins. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Bag 'Em
Freshly escaped from Manticore, Max (Jessica Alba) touches base with her inner-city pal Original Cindy (Valarie Rae Miller), who now knows that crusading journalist Logan (Michael Weatherly) is leading the "Eyes Only" resistance movement against the corrupt power structure. With Cindy's help, Max takes several of Manticore's youthful transgens under her wing, determined to protect them from the Manticore minions. Meanwhile, the sinister Ames White (Martin Cummins) intends to "correct" the mutant mistakes made by Manticore's Madame X -- through the simple expedient of killing them all, beginning with Max. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Designate This
Back for a second season (and moving to a new night and time slot), Dark Angel picks up where the season one cliffhanger left off. Recaptured by Manticore, the sinister organization which created her, genetically engineered Max Guevara (Jessica Alba) valiantly resists being reprogrammed as a Manticore warrior -- and also fends off efforts to mate her with fellow X-5 Alec (Jensen Ackles) for breeding purposes. At long last, Max escapes with the help of the doglike Joshua (Kevin Durand), an early "transhuman" experiment. As Joshua tries to track down clues to his origins (it has something to do with a "Sandman"), crusading cyberjounalist Logan (Michael Weatherly), who has grown extremely fond of Max, continues battling against the corrupt powers-that-be in futuristic Seattle -- all the while avoiding the vengeful minions of Manticore leader Madame X (Nana Visitor). Originally slated to air a week earlier, this episode was bumped back to September 28, 2001, due to ongoing network coverage of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Brainiac
Michael Ray Bower guest stars as geeky transgenic teenager Brain, who tirelessly monitors (and apparently anticipates) all movements of S1W. Smitten by Max (Jessica Alba), Brain agrees to help uncover the spy within the S1W ranks who turned Asha (Ashley Scott) over to the authorities. Meanwhile, Alec (Jensen Ackles) comes closer to figuring out which side Max is truly working for. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Harbor Lights
Wounded by a stray bullet, Max (Jessica Alba) -- using the alias Linda Eastman -- is whisked off to Harbor Lights Medical Hospital. Knowing full well that knowledge of her unique DNA could be disastrous for herself and her fellow Manticore refugees, Max refuses to allow any testing of her blood. But unless another figure can intervene, her secret will soon be revealed to the world. And what of Max's nemesis White (Martin Cummins), whose behavior vis-à-vis the present situation is strange indeed? ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Fuhgeddaboudit
At the behest of Logan (Michael Weatherly), Max (Jessica Alba) tries to get the goods on a mob boss by playing up to wimpy Syndicate accountant Dougie (Laurie Brunetti). Soon, however, both Max and Dougie are under the hypnotic power of the transgenic Mia (Tracy Leah Ryan), who is pursuing a strange agenda all her own. The upshot of all this intrigue is a very angry mobster, who demands that Max and her friends be taken for the proverbial "one way ride." ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Exposure
Dark Angel borrows a page from The Twilight Zone in this episode, set in the idyllic, picture-perfect town of Willoughby. That the community is too perfect to be true is demonstrated rather forcefully when Max (Jessica Alba) and Logan (Michael Weatherly) arrive in Willoughby, searching for Ray White (Brayden Bullen), son of their longtime nemesis Ames White (Martin Cummins). The climax involves a bizarre ritual and the omnipresence of White's burgeoning alternative-Manticore cult, The Familiars. And elsewhere, Max's pal Sketchy (Richard Gunn) is given an unusual assignment on his new job as tabloid reporter. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Hello, Goodbye
Max's (Jessica Alba) worst fears are realized when she inadvertently passes her virus to Logan (Michael Weatherly), leaving him near death. Frantically, a possible blood donor is sought out amongst the transgens -- but is anyone available, or even willing? As if this wasn't enough dramatic material for the episode, Alec (Jensen Ackles) is confronted with his evil doppelganger; White (Martin Cummins) foments a public witch hunt against the transgens; and the doglike Joshua (Kevin Durand) bonds with a blind woman named Annie Fisher (Kandyse McClure). As a bonus, this episode includes flashbacks excerpted from the first-season installment "Pollo Loco." ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Love in Vein
A vampiric transgen named Marrow (Sam Witwer) has enslaved a gang of street kids, addicting them to regular doses of his superhuman blood, which they drink as if it were a beverage. Capturing Max (Jessica Alba), Marrow informs her that he intends to use his "perfect," Manticore-generated blood for an all-out war against the non-transgens. He also offers to release Max, provided she hand over his current "chick" Rain (Keegan Connor Tracy) -- but there is far more at stake here than your average hostage exchange. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Freak Nation
It is the final stand between the transgens and their enemies in this special 90-minute episode. The connection between anti-transgen White (Martin Cummins) and the "Sandeman" responsible for the creation of such Manticore mutants as Joshua (Kevin Durand) has finally been revealed. As human vigilantes prepare to besiege the transgen refuge in Terminal City, Max (Jessica Alba), who has rather forcefully enlisted her human friends to her side of the battle, welcomes a mass migration of thousands and thousands of her Manticore "siblings" from all over the country. Will those runic symbols breaking out all over Max's body be explained? Is Logan (Michael Weatherly) at last immune to Max's lab-generated virus? And will White succeed in wiping out all traces of Manticore by killing every transgen on Earth? Unless the grass-roots effort to revive the series succeeds, this remains the last-ever episode of Dark Angel. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Dark Angel: Love Among the Runes
Leading the transgen resistance, Max (Jessica Alba) finds an unexpected ally in C.J. (Henri Lubatti), who claims to have broken ranks with White's anti-transgen Familiars. Alas, it turns out that C.J. cannot be trusted -- and is far too close to White (Martin Cummins) for anyone's comfort. It might just be that the key to the many confusing plot points raised in this penultimate Dark Angel episode may rest with the curious runic "tattoos" that have begun appearing all over Max's body. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: She Ain't Heavy
Max (Jessica Alba) is being hunted down by her Manticore-generated clone, a character introduced at the end of Dark Angel's first season. Not surprisingly, this puts an added strain on the already shaky relationship between Max and Logan (Michael Weatherly). Elsewhere, Logan's effort to convince the public that the transgens are not wholly evil results in violence; and the fervently anti-transgen White (Martin Cummins) enters into a dark conspiracy with the "crusading" Senator McKinley (Paul Perri). ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Borrowed Time
Dark Angel was shifted to a more adult-friendly 9:00 p.m. time slot with this episode, in which Max (Jessica Alba) has the opportunity to renew her relationship with Logan (Michael Weatherly). It all hinges on a temporary cure for the virus implanted in Max, a virus that would otherwise prove fatal to Logan should he contact it as well. Alas, the 12-hour reprieve from illness is rudely interrupted by Max's fellow Manticore refugee Joshua (Kevin Durand), who bears news of a hideous, Manticore-generated creature called Gossamer. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: Dawg Day Afternoon
Doglike Manticore refugee Joshua (Kevin Durand) has befriended Annie Fisher (Kandyse McClure), a blind woman who does not fear him because she cannot see him. Meanwhile, public hostility against Joshua and his fellow transgens is fueled by White (Martin Cummins) and Mrs. Morehead (Gabrielle Rose). The hysteria reaches a fever pitch when it appears that Joshua has kidnapped Annie. To save her fellow transgen, Max (Jessica Alba) may have to break her vow to avoid Logan (Michael Weatherly) -- even if it means infecting Logan with her deadly virus. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Dark Angel: The Berrisford Agenda
Sandoval (Fulvio Cecere), erstwhile first-season Dark Angel regular, makes a return appearance -- albeit in flashback form. These reminiscences are experienced by Alec (Jensen Ackles), who had been forced to kill his sweetheart Rachel (Meghan Ory) in a botched Manticore mission. Confused by Alec's unexpected display of human emotion, Max (Jessica Alba) suspects that something sinister is afoot. The plot shifts into high gear when the possibility arises that Rachel is still alive. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

This season's Features include: Audio commentary on selected episodes, 3 behind-the-scenes featurettes, and a Blooper Reel. This season also has the actor Jensen Ackles who play's Alec, I think he is hot. I would recomend this show to anyone. It shows that no mater what happens in life you can still find happenes.
