The image quality is just ok, not great, just regular.
I have a macbook pro (The old model) and you can tell its a HUGE difference between the displays.
If i was'nt in Mexico i would definitelly take it back to the store.

Posted by: BestBuyReviews273 from Oregon on 05/18/2013I'm really happy that we purchased this monitor for our desktop computer. My significant other wanted a smaller one, but after using a 24 inch at work, everything smaller just seems squished to me.
I'm a casual computer gamer, and it everything looks pretty great on the screen. It is a glass screen, so you do have to deal with glare depending on windows / lighting setup, but I like how the glass screens look and the ease of cleaning them.
Overall, no issues so far. I've had it for a couple of months, and it looks great. No super annoying lights on the screen (we keep it in the bedroom), it was really easy to set up, and it is a great size.

Excellent budget monitor

I decided to go with an IPS, which limited my choices. I found my docking station will not accept HDMI, so I'm using the included SVGA cable.
PROS:
For around $200, this is a great buy. It's well designed and sets up easily. The stand is sturdy.
Cons:
The buttons on the right are in the way if you need to adjust the tilt. A USB port or two would be nice. There is significant screen reflection from the overhead fan and lights. Although using the included DVD is not necessary, the auto-adjust is annoying for multi-taskers. But that feature cab be toggled off.

I looked up the specs on the Mac that I have and found that very few monitors carry the same specs. This monitor is very close and possibly better in some respects. The Apple monitors are $1000 and this one is $200, so for the price, I believe this is the best monitor out there. Does especially well for streaming videos. The glare could be a little annoying sometimes, but the monitor otherwise is so good and I like the glossy screen, so I will just adjust it during the day.
