It has high resolution and great color. This is also a great gaming monitor. The price at Best Buy was the lowest I found on line and in stores.

The monitor is a *little* choppy on gaming but after two days I no longer noticed. It rendered Bioshock Infinite with precision. The colors are just superior and the 2560x1600 are amazing. I bought this during a sale it for the price, it was just what the doctor ordered. I'm a believer in Dell Monitors (my second one).

Excellent monitor

Posted by: Thorg from Newbury Park, CA on 02/22/2013I went from a 1920x1080 to this 2560x1600 which is about twice the pixels and I'm loving it. Never seen such details and vibrant colors. I was concerned that my GTX570HD 1280MB wouldn't be able to handle the demand in fast moving games but all is ok. Note: I do occasionally get a white flash across the screen that I never had before but I'm not ready to blame the monitor, yet. I haven't used any of the buttons so far so I can't comment on them.

Posted by: rockwings from Henderson, NV on 01/28/2013I love the monitor, but it is has been IMPOSSIBLE to Register this item on the Dell website or through over 40 hours on the phone with incompetent Dell reps in India!!!! I have even considered returning this just because of this ridiculous problem. Dell's warranty registration system does NOT recognize the Service Tag, the Express SVC Code or the Serial Number; all of which are clearly marked on the back of the monitor. It is as if any Dell item purchased from Best Buy does NOT EXIST according to Dell. I anticipate this being a Complete NIGHTMARE if I ever need warranty service... I will NEVER buy another Dell product, and certainly not from Best Buy!!!! I definitely wouldn't have bought this from Best Buy if is wasn't on sale.

Superb monitor

For all its uses so far, including partner's gaming, it is far higher quality than anything I've ever seen. Plus, I was able to get it faster and slightly cheaper from Best Buy than directly from Dell.
