My Xbox wouldn't read disc's so I bought one off these and put it in console. It made scratchy noises and stuff for 10mins the got it out threw it away put in my mw3 and walllaaa it worked and didn't show no disc or scratched disc has worked now for 3months no problem!!0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

This cleaner fixed the bad reading problem with our DVD player. It also enabled us to test out the sound system linked to the player. It did not, however, work on our other sound-only (CD) players, a disappointment after it addressed sound for the DVD. Recommendation following is yes or no only per site. Annoying Introduction & Instructions on the disc1

I was simply looking for a lens cleaner and not a video advertisment about the product and or an extended video and lecture on how it works...EACH TIME I use the disc.
Although it seems to do the cleaning job well, there is an annoying introduction and a set of instructions that you MUST listen to each time you use the lens cleaner. There is an option to select "your language" but there is no option to then "go directly" to the cleaning process and skip all the blather and malarky. It is almosty like playing a poorly designed video game.
I am now looking for another product that simply cleans my lens and has the instructions on the package where I can read them as needed.1 out of 2 found this review helpful.

Worked Great for My Car CD Player5

I picked this up at my local Best Buy store for $10.49. Although it was for DVDs, the store associate advised it should work for the car CD player and that I could return it if it didn't. I tested it out in the parking lot and it worked within about a minute of cleaning. At first, my CD player said "check disk" after I inserted it, but then I took it out and put it back in and switched tracks for about a minute or so before the pesky check disk error came back (it came back if I didn't continually switch tracks). Pulled it out and tried an audio CD and it worked beautifully. All my CDs were stopping like crazy before. This was in a 2004 Infiniti stock CD player.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.
