It made scratchy noises and stuff for 10mins the got it out threw it away put in my mw3 and walllaaa it worked and didn't show no disc or scratched disc has worked now for 3months no problem!!

It did not, however, work on our other sound-only (CD) players, a disappointment after it addressed sound for the DVD. Recommendation following is yes or no only per site. Yes, it does the job, but borrow one from a friend.
