I had a DVD that I got for free because it did not work good.
I took a chance and bought the SkipDr and was amazed that it took a non-playable DVD and repaired it! I purchased the manual one because it was cheaper than the battery operated one. It worked just fine.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I bought this to fix a dvd. After reading the instructions I used it. It did clean the disc. I will give it that. Not only did it not fix my problem it made it worse. The instructions said if it does not get fixed the first try do it again. I did it again now the menu does not work. Now all I have is a dvd with a menu. Thankfully I replaced the dvd before using this. This was something I was going to mainly use for maintenance and cleaning. I will NEVER use this product again. I can only imagine the automatic version of this product is just as bad. If your dvd or cd is defective I say get an exchange if you still can or use anything but this product.1 out of 3 found this review helpful.

Fixed "perfect circle" on Xbox3605

This product fixed perfect circle scratch on two Xbox360 discs. I had to run the discs through the machine 4 or 5 turns instead of one, but after that both discs played and installed with no problem.2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

very good product saved three of my xbox 360 games ,I had my doubts but i was amazed that this worked .it wont take off the perfect circle off the 360 disc but it will bring back to a working condition4 out of 4 found this review helpful.

Is a good product the instructions say let the disk do 2 full rotations try to see if it works like that and if it don't work 1st time try it all over again as many times need it but it works4 out of 4 found this review helpful.

My dvds look a bit cleaner, but they play the same after cleaning them, or worse! I am afraid that it is making it worse after I see the cleaning lines are still there after wiping them down. I'm going to take it back for something else and hope that another product fixes the issues it caused.2 out of 7 found this review helpful.

I was at first skeptical that this product would fix a Xbox 360 disk that was damaged with moderate scratches around the disk, but now I know that this product is not only capable, but excellent in serving its purpose. Although the product is manual, it is not at all difficult to use; it merely requires very minimal strength that most 2 year olds are likely capable of producing.16 out of 19 found this review helpful.

I purchased this yesterday and I already love it! It is simple to use. I have already repaired 6 dvds. I have 3 children and they love their movies but they aren't very gentle so things get scratched. This has saved my sanity. It's great. It's portable. It's a great value. All I can say is IT WORKS!20 out of 24 found this review helpful.

I forget I have this every once in a while until we come across a DVD that skips one too many times, and then we figure we'll give it a try and are amazed each time that it works so well! So what if it takes a few minutes of elbow grease, it's well worth it. I'll be buying a second one tonight for a friend to have.15 out of 20 found this review helpful.
