I am not experiencing the Humming noise like other posts have stated. I am not saying this wasn't the case for them, but for me everything sounds perfect.

Posted by: JC97060 from Troutdale, Oregon on 01/08/2013I just hooked up my new surround sound and the sub had a constant hum when I had the system muted and when I turned everything off. It kept my sub from going into standby mode which it normally does automatically. I swapped it with a more expensive gold plated cable I had laying around and voila! It was silent! The hum is gone and unfortunately for me, so is the packaging for this baby or I'd be taking it back to get my $18 back. :~/
