I was going on a long driving trip. My car only has one DC adaptor port, but I needed three; one each for my cell phone, GPS device, and iPad. This item was perfect for my needs because it gave me two ports-one to use directly, the other to piggyback an additional dual port access that I already owned-a regular DC port with a USB access. I need to charge my cell phone and have external sat. radio. I thought I might skip the dual adapter when one didn't work I had just brought. Got the best buy brand one=perfect. No loss of sound etc. from its use.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
