handy and cheaper but good option

Posted by: akira2 from CA on 04/19/2013This adapter plug is good to have if you travel frequently and doesn't need step up the power voltage. it's very light, only it's separated into 5 different pieces. You just have to make sure that none are lost or choose the one you need carefully to bring along with you. Good side it's light, bad side there is no power step up or down and not too consize.

Posted by: Traveler201 from Louisiana on 03/22/2013I brought the Northern Europe adapter on my recent trip to Sweden and it didn't fit in any of the outlets. I think the prongs are too fat, or the coating messed it up, but it isn't fun traveling that far to find out your adapter doesn't work!

Posted by: netmand from Worcester, MA on 06/08/2011These adapters are made with dense molded plastic and uses solid metal conductors. It comes with a small cloth drawstring baggie to put them in. Each adapter is clearly labeled with the area to which it applies (Northern Europe, Africa, etc.) This product only adapts the connection. If you're going to use high wattage devices (e.g. hairdryer) or if the power supply of your device cannot take the voltage (e.g. 110-240) you must also purchase a voltage converter in addition to this.
