Here's how:
If you find a qualifying lower price online, call 1-888-BEST BUY and direct a customer service agent to the web site with the lower price, or when visiting a Best Buy store, one of our employees will assist you.
On qualifying products, Best Buy will then verify the current price to complete the price match.
Some exclusions apply. See the list of Designated Major Online Retailers and full details.
Posted by: from New Orleans, LA on 04/25/2013I used this compound to repair my out-of-warranty Xbox 360. I needed a stop-gap solution because I wanted to see if I could actually succeed at doing the repair myself. I guess I didn't use enough the first time, because although the repair worked, the machine was not working after a week.

Does what it's supposed to.

Posted by: Squidlet from Raleigh on 01/05/2013My processor (I5) was running hot (90-100 C) under the smallest of cpu strains. Disassembled my laptop and found that the original thermal paste was dried up. Cleaned off the old and applied the new, and now my computer is running fine now. This product works and is price fairly reasonably.

As advertised, but not what I was hoping...

Posted by: AKDad09 from Anchorage on 10/16/2012The thermal paste was easy to replace and a great fix for a warm-tendency-having computer. Very easy to clean and replace.

Posted by: XFactor from Indianapolis, IN on 09/07/2012It was easy to apply, and lowered my CPU temp from an average of 60°C down to an average of 35°C... the only negative I have was the price of $10.99, compared to something similar from walmart.com, however I chose this from Best Buy as they sold it in the store so I was able to pick it up same day instead of having to wait for it to be delivered.... and the result speaks for itself, therefore I'd definitely recommend it to anyone else...

Better than what Microsoft uses

Posted by: DevinM from Pittsburgh, PA on 08/08/2012My Xbox 360 Elite after 5 years finally succumbed to the Red Ring of Death. Warranty long expired I figured I'd try to fix it. The source of the problem was very cheap thermal paste used by Microsoft. After some research I disassembled it and reaaplied the thermal paste to the CPU and GPU. Afterwards the system works like new, no overheating problems or anything.
For someone that has no training with the innards of computers, the product made it easy and saved me about 200 dollars from microsofts pocket.

Great Product

Posted by: Sweak from PA on 06/20/2012I have 4 computers and am using this compound on all 4. They are almost always on with most of them running World Community Grid at 80-100% CPU utilization around the clock. I have a Q9300, 2 Q6600s and an E4700. The highest CPU Temps I have seen are on one of my Q6600s at about 48C under load running for days and was at 55C when using Arctic Silver. Great compound. For the people seeing it oozing out; you are using too much. Have someone that is more experienced help you put your rig together.

Poor performance

Posted by: chillinzx from Lake Zurich, IL on 06/08/2012After a few hours of video editing and format conversions, my temp would skyrocket. You could smell this paste disintegrate when you push your computer to it's limits. Stick with Arctic Silver, which Best Buy does not want to stock (does not like competition aparantly). This paste would do fine for a poser or someone that wants basic low temperature computing. Good thing Intel processors are forgiving to overheating, otherwise I would be out $500 plus income loss for a couple days.

It does the job required

Posted by: kawwa001 from Plattsburgh, NY on 04/12/2012If you want to cool down you heating CPU it does a good job, but it has too much compound in it for one CPU, so I'm not sure whether the extra compound will last till I need it next time...! (Reduce capacity of the compund = low cost)
