Easy patch of 2 Lan cables

It does not have any internal electronics, but is only to physically connect the cables. It is kind of like an extension cord for ethernet cables. At $12.99, it is very expensive for this type of device.

Great Product if You Need It

If you already own the Cat 5 Cable and just need to place two of them together for longer length this is a great product to have. Unfortunately my problems lay in the price of this item. It seems a little steep for me, but on that note purchasing Cat 5 cable, ends and a crimp-er or simple a Cat 5 Cable long enough to suffice the distance was still rather expensive. The only other problem I have with it is it is in a much to large of a casing which makes it hard to hide. Other than these to minor issues it does what it is suppose to do and works well.
