Posted by: CWheels from California on 12/03/2012I bought this headset because I needed one to chat with friends while playing games, I was on a tight budget and needed a cheap, good headset so the person working recommended this.
I used the headset for about a day when I realized it had some connection problems with connecting to my computer. After about a week of wobbling the cord around to get it to work it finally would not connect anymore.

Piece of rubbish

Posted by: DAMorgan from Maine on 04/13/2012I make walkthrough videos for the internet, and after my 12 dollar micstand broke after having it for 4 years. I decided I should upgrade to a headphone, both by DYNEX.
Problem is... the playback audio recordings are so bad and muffled it borderline makes me sound like a robot.
with close to no settings and having it for months to unable to return, I basically just paid 25 bucks for anger.
I don't care if mine alone is faulty, I will never buy from DYNEX again.

If Only I Could Give This Product 0 Stars.....

I tried it on both my laptop and desktop but couldn't get it to work. The sound would click on for a few seconds and then die out. I followed all of the troubleshooting techniques that came with the instructions to no avail. In the end, I exchanged it with a Logitech model (and purchased the warranty) which worked beautifully. I wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing the Dynex headset as it would have saved me the trouble of making a second trip to Best Buy. Therefore, my recommendations are to invest a little more if you don't want to deal with the hassle.

Worst Headset ever

Posted by: Andarman17 from Keyport, NJ on 05/15/2011Now I have obtained two of these headsets. The first one broke in two weeks and I thought well maybe my dog got to it. The second one i have lasted just over 1 week and it was terrible. For Counter Strike or Call of Duty, it is very hard to hear anything. And that is the point of the headset. Also, it isn't all that comforting either. The wires always get tangled and it is not work the amount of money to have it break and get terrible usage out of it.
