A stunning surround sound system — that's a breeze to set up

Sony's DAV-X1 Platinum DVD Dream System will fill your room with awesome sound and surround you in a phenomenal home theater experience.
The Dream System's S-FORCE Pro 2.1 technology utilizes an all-digital process to deliver separation between front, center and rear channels. In addition, the speakers are specially designed with two unique drivers in each. These drivers are fed by multiple discrete channels creating a remarkably rich listening experience. The speakers themselves are designed to fit into almost any living space and the total system can be easily set up right out of the box.

S-FORCE Pro 2.1 Surround Sound Technology:
The system emulates a three-dimensional surround sound field by using advanced signal processing and sound wave phasing, while the omnidirectional subwoofer handles the low-frequency effects. The result is full immersive surround sound with fewer wires and less speakers than some surround systems.

HDMI 720p/1080i Video Upscale:
HDMI Technology (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a fully digital interface that carries uncompressed audio and video signals between compatible digital high-definition devices and displays. It produces the sharpest possible image, the clearest audio and the highest fidelity.

dts, Dolby Digital and Dolby Pro Logic II Decoding:
Multichannel audio technology provides dynamic, spacious and realistic digital surround sound.

S-Master Digital Amplifier:
This amplifier processes audio signals from your HDTV broadcast, DVD, Super Audio CD, or other digital source. The signal processing and amplification is executed entirely in the digital domain with no analog steps, resulting in clear, accurate sound reproduction.

A/V Sync (Lip Sync):
This allows for adjustment of the audio/video parameter for perfect simultaneous playback of sound and image.

Digital Direct Twin Drive Subwoofer:
The subwoofer delivers a much more powerful and uniform bass sound that exceeds most passive or active subwoofer systems.

Supported Formats:
DVD, Super Audio CD, CD, Video CD, CD-R/RW, DVD-R/+R, DVD+R DL and DVD-W/+W Playback

(DVD+RW/+R, DVD-RW/-R and CD-R/RW playback may not be compatible with all discs, depending on recording conditions.)
