Good for counting steps only, but a wash risk

I purchased the small version as it was cheaper but miss the backlit display and sleep tracking. It's great if you use it only to count steps. This version is water resistant which helps in case you accidentally leave it on your clothes and wash it.
I miss the sleep tracking and am waiting to purchase the FITBIT Zip as it is on back order.

Great little motivator!

Posted by: TypeAA from Washington, DC on 05/09/2013I used to have the FitBit Ultra however; lost it. The new FitBit's have a much better clip as it's silicon and doesn't slip easily. I purchased the Zip the second time around as it runs off a cell battery that lasts about 6 months.
I would be lost without my Zip, I use it everyday to check my steps, distance, active time, it's a great little motivator and much less than the shoe companies wrist tracker. Now FitBit has a wrist tracker as well which, I might upgrade to for the sleep tracking.
Several of my friends have FitBit's as well and we love to cheer one another on, or give someone a hard time for falling behind in their weekly step total - once you're linked on line as friends, it has a leaderboard that's great for keeping you going!
I highly recommend this, it's worth far more than the price!

An overpriced pedometer

Good basic starting tracker

The smiley face helps show her when she is making progress without getting into detailed numbers. It is very easy to use and convenient to wear under clothes so not noticeable. Great little starter tool

Just leave the tracking unit in your pocket or clipped on to your clothes and get active! If you leave your laptop/pc on, your exercise data will automatically be transferred from the tracker to your online account, via the bluetooth usb dongle, whenever the tracker is within range. The best thing I can say about the unit is that it works!
