Good for a beginner to track steps

It is easy to forget you have it on or that it is in your pocket, making it easy to accidentally wash it with your clothes. Good value for the money. I washed it once and it still works.

Makes step counting easy

The web page is simple and easy to read. I use the fitbit zip along with the My Fitness Pal app and the two together work well for me.

Great to get motivated!

I find myself checking my steps throughout the day right from my phone and it makes me want to reach my goals. The only thing bad about it is I didn't even have it a month and it stopped syncing to my phone and computer but thats okay because I love it so much that I am going to exchange it for the one that tracks sleep as well. I would recommend this product to anyone!
