Posted by: Rockerguyb from Wilmington on 11/10/2011I've always thought that cheap was the way to go cause you can get just about the same results by paying half the cost. Well I've grown up now and I have gotten serious about my sound and about my recordings. I use this in conjunction with Pro Tools 10 and they work flawlessly! The preamps sound descent, but they are not mind blowing, if anything they're just okay. Aside from that the amount of inputs on this thing are plentiful. The fact you can plug in 8 extra channels via optical pipelight is really good, and its got 8 channels on its own. Once I get a good tube pre amp I'll be set.
