Friends: The One With the Late Thanksgiving
It's time again for Friends' traditional Thanksgiving show (the series' last such episode, in fact). But the dinner may not go off as planned: after Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) strong-arms Monica (Courteney Cox) into staging the event for the rest of the friends, no one bothers to show up on time, preoccupied as they are with such distractions as a Rangers game and a baby beauty pageant. Offended and disgusted, Monica and Chandler (Matthew Perry) lock their door and refuse to allow any of the latecomers into the apartment. Happily, the friends are reunited by a very special phone call from Ohio. ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One With the Cake
Emma's first birthday is the occasion for a big party, complete with a bunny-shaped cake. The trouble begins when Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) decides that the cake -- which is in a "shape" all right, but is nothing like a bunny -- would be more appropriate for a bachelorette party. As it happens, the party may never come off, since none of Rachel's friends have shown up, preoccupied as they are with either working or trying to avoid work. ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One Where Rachel's Sister Babysits
Christina Applegate returns as Amy, terminal tactless sister of new mommy Rachel (Jennifer Aniston). Enlisted as babysitter for little Emma, Amy proves to be the worst possible choice for the job when she gets the infant's ears pierced. Meanwhile, Joey (Matt LeBlanc) pores over a thesaurus while trying to write a persuasive letter to the adoption agency on behalf of Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Monica (Courteney Cox); and Mike's (Paul Rudd) efforts to propose to Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) are spoiled...by Phoebe. This episode originally ran 42 minutes. ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One Where Ross Is Fine
Ross (David Schwimmer) insists that he's "fine" concerning the romance between Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Joey (Matt LeBlanc), but proves otherwise when he gets drunk during a dinner date. Complicating matters is the confused state of mind of Ross' erstwhile girlfriend Charlie (Aisha Tyler). Meanwhile, Phoebe's half-brother, Frank Jr. (Giovanni Ribisi), pays a visit with the triplets borne by surrogate mom Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) in tow, the better to make a curious offer. And Chandler (Matthew Perry) sticks his foot in it when he lets slips the fact that a youngster of his acquaintance was adopted. ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One With Ross's Grant
Greg Kinnear guest stars as Dr. Hobart, eminent paleontologist, Nobel Prize winner, and former boyfriend of Ross' current amour, Charlie (Aisha Tyler). Anxious to get a prestigious grant from Hobart, Ross (David Schwimmer) is willing to many any sacrifice -- but he may draw the line when it comes to giving up Charlie. Elsewhere, Chandler (Matthew Perry) unsuccessfully tries to cover up the fact that he's sneak-previewed Joey's (Matt LeBlanc) audition tape, and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Monica (Courteney Cox) get into a tussle over a painting that neither one wants -- or do they? ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One With the Home Study
Maria Pitillo guest stars as Laura, the social worker assigned to visit Monica (Courteney Cox) and Chandler (Matthew Perry) to discuss their prospects for becoming adoptive parents. Arriving at the apartment, Laura is seized by a feeling of déjà vu -- understandable, since she previously had a one-night stand in the selfsame apartment with Joey (Matt LeBlanc). Meanwhile, Mike (Paul Rudd) and Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) have problems keeping their promise to donate their wedding fund to charity, and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) reveals one of her innermost fears to Ross (David Schwimmer) -- she's terrified of swings. ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One After Joey and Rachel Kiss
The tenth and final season of Friends opens with this 45-minute episode, which takes place right after the big kiss in Barbados. Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Joey (Matt LeBlanc) are definitely in love; the problem now is how to tell Ross (David Schwimmer). Of course, all the other friends know the whole story, thanks to those paper-thin hotel room walls. Elsewhere, Phoebe's (Lisa Kudrow) relationship with Mike (Paul Rudd) hits another snag in the form of his girlfriend "Precious" (Anne Dudek), and back in New York, Monica (Courteney Cox) goes to outrageous lengths to "tame" her unnaturally poofy hairdo. ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One With Ross's Tan
Ross (David Schwimmer) lacks the patience to cultivate a tan the "old-fashioned" way, so he resorts to a spray-on. Meanwhile, the friendship between Monica (Courteney Cox) and Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) is sorely tested by the presence of their mutual acquaintance Amanda (Jennifer Coolidge), who has just returned from England with a newly acquired -- and extremely annoying -- British accent. And even though they've gone on their first date, Joey (David Schwimmer) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) continue having trouble getting it together. ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One With Rachel's Going Away Party
Not wishing to make a mass goodbye to her friends before leaving for Paris, Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) gives individual farewells to everybody -- except Ross (David Schwimmer). He is understandably put out until he learns the reason for Rachel's apparent snub. Meanwhile, Erica (Anna Faris), the mother of the Bings' soon-to-be-adopted child, goes into labor, making Monica's (Courteney Cox) plans to move to Westchester even more problematic. ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One Where the Stripper Cries
In the tradition of past "February Sweeps," this episode of Friends originally ran 42 minutes rather than the usual 30. It is more than enough time for the various plot strands to unfold, beginning with a disastrous bachelorette party for Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), wherein the male stripper turns out to be a really creepy guy (played by a past master at "creeps," Danny DeVito). Also, Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Ross (David Schwimmer) recall an embarrassing incident from their college days, and, in a sequence currently missing from the syndication print of this episode, Joey (Matt LeBlanc) makes a fool of himself on the TV game show Pyramid (which explains why that series' host Donny Osmond makes a guest appearance). ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One With Princess Consuela
Upon discovering that she can now legally change her name to anything she likes, new bride Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) assumes the identity of "Princess Consuela Bananahammock," much to the bemusement of her husband, "Crap Bag" -- er, Mike (Paul Rudd). Elsewhere, a morose Joey (Matt LeBlanc) turns to an unlikely source for comfort as he prepares to bid farewell to Monica (Courteney Cox) and Chandler (Matthew Perry). And while Ross (David Schwimmer) gets good news at his job, Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) gets bad news at hers...at least until she runs in to an old flame who makes an extremely tantalizing offer. ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One With Phoebe's Wedding
In this landmark 45-minute episode, Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) anxiously prepares for her marriage to Mike (Paul Rudd). Things hit a snag early in the proceedings, thanks to control-freak Monica (Courteney Cox) and her labyrinthine plans for the ceremony; also, Joey (Matt LeBlanc) takes his "surrogate father" responsibilities way too seriously when asked to give the bride away. As it turns out, nobody will get to the church on time, thanks to the worst snowstorm ever to hit New York City -- and it is up to Joey to assume a "new identity" to save the day. ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The Last One, Part 1
Originally running 65 minutes (and later re-edited as two separate programs for syndication), the final episode of Friends finds Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) on the verge of leaving New York for her new job in Paris. Just before the big departure, stalwart "coffee guy" Gunther (James Michael Tyler) lets slip to Rachel that Ross (David Schwimmer) is still madly in love with her. Meanwhile, Mike (Paul Rudd) informs his new bride, Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) -- already the mother of triplets -- that he'd like to start a family. And as Monica (Courteney Cox) and Chandler (Matthew Perry) prepare to move into their new Westchester home, adoptive birth mother Erica (Anna Faris) gives birth to twins. ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One Where Joey Speaks French
Upset over her dad's heart attack, Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) comes on to Ross (David Schwimmer) -- but he refuses to rekindle their romance under such circumstances, no matter how much he wants to. Meanwhile, adoptive birth mother Erica (Anna Faris) informs Monica (Courteney Cox) and Chandler (Matthew Perry) that the father of their soon-to-be-adopted baby may well be the infamous "shovel killer." And, just as the episode's title reveals, Joey (Matt LeBlanc) takes French lessons from Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) in preparation for a movie audition. ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One Where Estelle Dies
Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) doesn't know how to tell the already depressed and confused Joey (Matt LeBlanc) that his agent, Estelle, has died. Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) has an opportunity for a new job in Paris, but Ross (David Schwimmer) is anxious to keep her in New York -- even to the point of trying to get her re-hired at Ralph Lauren. And Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Monica (Courteney Cox) discover that their old nemesis Janice (Maggie Wheeler) may be their new next-door neighbor. ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One Where Chandler Gets Caught
The very married Chandler (Matthew Perry) is spotted getting into car with a strange blonde. Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) suspect Chandler of cheating on Monica (Courteney Cox), little realizing that the "mystery woman" is a real estate agent, who is trying to close the deal on a home in Westchester. Once the friends have absorbed the news that Monica and Chandler are moving to the burbs, they are even more distraught than when they imagined that Chandler was philandering. All this intrigue is essentially an excuse for another Friends "clip show," with choice highlights from previous episodes. ~ All Movie Guide

Friends: The One With the Birth Mother
Anna Faris makes her first series appearance as Erica, the Ohio woman whose baby Monica (Courteney Cox) and Chandler (Matthew Perry) hope to adopt. Alas, the first meeting between Erica and the Bings turns into a not-so-comic comedy of errors when she mistakes the couple for a doctor and a minister. Meanwhile, back in New York, Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) gets her shopping bags confused when she selects an outfit for Ross (David Schwimmer); and Joey (Matt LeBlanc) is bothered by his latest date's table etiquette -- or lack of same. ~ All Movie Guide
