Check for scuffs

I ordered this camera online because it was $10 less than in store. Got it without a problem, but upon closer inspection, the packaging (it is a blister package) rubs against the front of the camera. What I found is that with the camera in the package and even without opening, there were scuff marks on the front of the lens assembly. Some were so bad that the white plastic under the black or silver paint job was showing. I went to the local Best Buy and checked about 9 cameras that were there, most of them had this scuffing. I picked the one with the least scuffing and exchanged it for the one I received. Just FYI to be careful if you order/buy this camera.

Posted by: Barfinator from on 04/05/2013I bought this camera for work and it does the job great. Only problem I had was that when you silence the button beeps, the flash is deactivated as well. Not a major issue with its function, just wish it wasn't tied together like that. Otherwise it has been flawless for me.

Great starter camera for my daughter
