    Full House: Matchmaker Michelle
Having gone so long without a mother, Michelle (played by the Olsen twins) chooses a new mom for herself, secure in the belief that dad Danny (Bob Saget) will do the right thing and marry the woman. Unfortunately, Michelle's selection is her kindergarten teacher Miss Wiltrout (June Lockhart)--who is approximately twice Danny's age. Elswhere, Jesse (John Stamos) toughens up his "sweet" image to land a record contract; and for reasons too complicated to explain here, DJ (Candace Cameron) and her best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber) exchange identities. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Full House: Double Trouble
The fifth-season opener of Full House finds Jesse (John Stamos) returning from his band tour, Becky (Lisa Loughlin) awaiting the birth of her baby, Michelle (played by the Olsen twins) preparing to start kindergarten, and DJ (Candace Cameron) on the threshold of beginning high school. When Becky finds out she is going to have twins, Jesse reacts to the news in a surprisingly negative fashion. Meanwhile, Steph develops a crush on her first male teacher, Mr. Lowry (Philip Levien). With this episode, former recurring actor Andrea Barber becomes a regular in the role of Kimmy, and Tahj Mowry makes his first appearance as Michelle's new best friend Teddy. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Full House: Sisters in Crime
Having volunteered to babysit Steph (Jodie Sweetin) and Michelle (played by the Olsen twins) while the grownups attend a hockey game, DJ (Candace Cameron) refuses to allow her younger sisters to leave the house and attend a movie. But when her friend Steve asks her to go to the flicks herself, DJ's resolve weakens. Inevitably, the three girls convince themselves that they can return home long before Danny (Bob Saget) finds out that they've gone without permission--but the Fates are against them. Scott Weinger makes his frist series appearance, albeit as "Steve Peters" rather than Steve Hale. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Full House: Bachelor of the Month
When Danny (Bob Saget) is elected San Francisco's "Bachelor of the Month", daughter Michelle (played by the Olsen twins) worries that her dad will be spending so much time socializing that he won't have any room for her. Elsewhere, the pressures of parenthood are already taking quite a toll on Jesse (John Stamos) and Becky (Lisa Loughlin). And Becky's temporary "Wake Up San Francisco" replacement Vicky Larson (Gail Edwards) proves to be a bit too outspoken for her own good--but Danny is fascinated by her all the same. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Full House: Nicky and/or Alexander
Upon bringing her new twin sons home, Becky (Lisa Loughlin) outfits the infants with specially colored booties so she can tell Baby Alex from Baby Nick. You guessed it: bumbling dad Jesse (John Stamos) immediately loses the booties, prompting a frantic search for the missing footwear before Becky finds out. Meanwhile, Danny (Bob Saget) learns to his surprise that he enjoys the blunt outspokenness of Becky's temporary replacement on "Wake Up San Francisco." With this episode, Gail Edwards is introduced as Vicky Larson. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Full House: Happy Birthday, Babies - Part 1
The 5th birthday of Michelle Tanner (played by the Olsen twins) sparks a retrospective of the family's previous adventures, conveyed via excerpts from the series' first four seasons. But Michelle is in anything but a festive mood: with Becky about to give birth to twins any day now, the youngest member of the Tanner household is worried that she'll soon be upstaged by her new cousins. This is the first episode of a two-part story. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Full House: Gotta Dance
Steph (Jodie Sweetin) wants very much to become a professional dancer, only to find out that the lessons are harder than she thought they'd be. The problem: How can Steph give up the lessons without breaking the heart of dad Danny (Bob Saget), who seems convinced she has "what it takes" to be a star? Meanwhile, Becky (Lisa Loughlin) tries to arrange a baby shower without telling Jesse (John Stamos)--but she hasn't reckoned with Michelle (played by the Olsen twins), who sees all, knows all, and tells all. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Full House: The King and I
While trying to land a recording contract, Jesse (John Stamos) comes down with a bad case of writer's block. So obsessed is he with this crisis that he misses the big family-reunion picnic at Lake Pollock. As it happens, the only person who can help Jesse overcome his problem--and lead him to find new "inspiration" for his music--is a strangely familiar-looking fellow whom he meets at a roadside diner. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Full House: Take My Sister, Please
Michelle (played by the Olsen twins) is unhappy when DJ (Candace Cameron) gets her own room, and doubly so after being teased by new roommate Steph (Jodie Sweetin). In characteristic 5-year-old pique, Michelle moves her belongings into the Tanner family bathroom, from which she refuses to budge. Meanwhile, despite his efforts to escape pregnant Becky's mood-swings, Jesse (John Stamos) ends up surrounded by grouchy expectant mothers. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Full House: Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Little Girl Gone?
High school becomes Hell for DJ (Candace Cameron) when the other ninth graders accuse her of being a bad kisser. Dad Danny (Bob Saget) would like to console his daughter--but how can he do anything if she refuses to come to him with her problems? Meanwhile, Jesse (John Stamos) makes good use of Joey's old room, and Steph (Jodie Sweetin) does her best to ease her kid sister Michelle (played by the Olsen twins) out of babyhood. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Full House: The Volunteer
While volunteering at nursing home, DJ befriends 75-year-old Eddie Johnson, and invites him to pay a visit at the Tanner home. But there's a couple of minor problems: DJ has no authority to "sign out" Eddie; and the likable senior citizen turns out to be suffering from Alzheimers. Elsewhere, Jesse (John Stamos) dons a cumbersome "sympathy pad" to prove that he understands what his pregnant wife Becky (Lisa Loughlin) is going through; and Steph (Jodie Sweetin) and Michelle (played by theOlsen twins) stage a dog show--doing their best (?) to rig the outcome in favor of their own dog Comet. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Full House: Happy Birthday, Babies - Part 2
In the conclusion of a two-part story, Becky (Lisa Loughlin) goes into labor right in the middle of Michelle's 5th birthday party. And if this wasn't enough chaos, Becky's husband Jesse (John Stamos) turns out to need emergency surgery of a different sort--and as result, when the twins are born, Becky is wide awake and Jesse is fast asleep. This episode marks the first appearance of Nicky and Alex Katsopolis, the newest members of the Tanner household. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Full House: The Legend of Ranger Joe
Joey (David Coulier) has a chance to become a the new host of the TV kiddie show currently emceed by his childhood idol Ranger Roy (Barney Martin). But he's in for a major disillusionment--and another professional setback--when the beloved Ranger Roy turns out to be nowhere near as friendly as he appears on TV. Meanwhile, Becky (Lisa Loughlin) is astonished to discover that her husband Jesse (John Stamos) was born under a different name. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Full House: Easy Rider
Intent upon learning how to ride a two-wheel bike, Michelle (played by the Olsen twins) takes a nasty fall--and places the blame on Joey (David Coulier), who was trying to teach her. Meanwhile, Jesse (John Stamos) and Becky (Lisa Loughlin) go on their first outing with the twins, a momentous journey which bids fair to rival Homer's "Odyssey". And Danny (Bob Saget) is having a LOT of trouble maintaining a strictly-business relationship with his temporary TV partner Vicky (Gail Edwards). ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Full House: The Trouble With Danny
It's time for the traditional Spring Cleaning Day, and everyone in the Tanner household--except Michelle (played by the Olsen twins)--is dreading the prospect of neat-freak Danny (Bob Saget) forcing them to go to work. When the family rebals against Danny's overzealousness, he decides to radically change his ways. Unfortunately (and predictably), Danny the Slob proves to be even more obnoxious than Danny the Neat. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Full House: Yours, Mine and Ours
"Tanner Family Fun Night" is anything but when Danny (Bob Saget), Joey (David Coulier) and the girls get into a silly argument at a pirate-themed restaurant. Not unexpectedly, mere words are abandoned when comedy props are brought into play. And back at the Tanner home, Jesse (John Stamos) and Becky (Lisa Loughlin) get into an argument at home over the proper care of their twin babies...until a crisis develops. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Full House: Crushed
After refusing to let Steph (Jodie Sweetin) attend a concert by her favorite singer Tommy Page, Danny secretly arranges for Tommy to sing at her 10th birthday party. So starstruck is Steph that she immediately begins imagining herself as Mrs. Tommy Page--but older sister DJ (Candace Cameron) would seem to have this honor all sewn up for herself. A sibling battle ensues, followed by a surprise revelation and an important life lesson. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Full House: Driving Miss D.J.
DJ (Candace Cameron) may never learn to drive, thanks to the well-meaning "assistance" of dad Danny (Bob Saget) and uncle Jesse (John Stamos). Making DJ especially nervous is Danny, who still hasn't gotten over the fact that his beloved wife was killed by a drunken driver. Elsewehere, Michelle (played by the Olsen twins) is more of a pest than usual when Steph (Jodie Sweetin) invites her friends over to the Tanner house, forcing Steph to take drastic action. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Full House: Too Much Monkey Business
Darlene Vogel makes the first of two appearances as Danny's globetrotting sister Wendy. The girl arrives in the Tanner household with a pet chimpanzee in tow, and before long the little simian has endeared himself to everyone...except Joey (David Coulier). Later on, Joey accidentally loses Ginger--but not before Danny (Bob Saget) loses his cool when he catches Joey and Wendy sharing a passionate kiss. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Full House: Five's a Crowd
En route to a media-awards ceremony, Danny (Bob Saget), Jesse (John Stamos) and Joey (David Coulier) are sidetracked to a drive-in movie (remember those?) But they're not seeking out entertainment; instead, they are preparing to "rescue" DJ (Candace Cameron), who is out on a date with a grungy-looking rock musician named Pete (Roger Floyd). And back at home, Kimmy (Andrea Barber) is the official babysitter, but it's Steph (Jodie Sweetin) who ends up doing all the work. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

And in a last-chance effort to insure the saleability of his music video, Jesse receives some stellar backup support from "Beach Boys" Mike Love and Bruce Johnston. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Full House: Girls Will Be Boys
Now that her best friend Teddy (Tahj Mowry) has developed the traditional five-year-old's disdain for girls, Michelle (played by the Olsen twins) is worried that she will no longer be accepted by any of her male schoolmates. As a result, she re-invents herself as a tomboy, with the expected wacky results. Elsewhere, Joey (David Coulier) asks Jesse (John Stamos) to take charge of the music on his TV kiddie show; and DJ (Candace Cameron) attempts to scare Steph (Jodie Sweetin) out of her persistent nosiness. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Breaking his recording deal, Jesse finds himself with no job and no prospects--but, fortunately, with plenty of loved ones to help him get through the bad times. Meanwhile, Danny (Bob Saget) finally makes a decision about allowing DJ (Candace Cameron) to spend her summer in Spain. This is the final episode of Full House's fifth season. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Full House: Play it Again, Jess

After winning her class spelling bee, Steph (Jodie Sweetin) is entered in the school finals, only to be eliminated from the competition by a single letter. Down but not out, Steph challenges the winner, "human dictionary" Davey Chu (Jared Leong), to an intensely personal rematch. Elsewhere, Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) unexpectedly turns out to have the solution when Michelle (played by the Olsen twins) encounters difficulty learning to read. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Full House: The Devil Made Me Do It
When she is caught playing with Jesse's recording equipment, Michelle is punished by Danny (Bob Saget). Feeling that the penalty is unfair, Michelle runs away and winds up at the home of her best friend Teddy (Tahj Mowry), where she meets his somewhat nutty sister Denise (a role played by young Mowry's real-life twin sisters)played by child actor Mowry's real-life sisterlactor Mhecdcen. Meanwhile, in her efforts to mediate a quarrel between Kimmy (Andrea Barber) and Steph (Jodie Sweetin), DJ (Candace Cameron) loses her cool. Full House: The Complete Fifth Season [4 Discs / Full] - DVD (2 out of 2)
Full House is always a good bet!

Posted by: from Shakopee on 01/07/2010Even though Full House was well over by the time my children were born, they've seen it on Disney Channels and instantly fell in love! The shows have great stories and lessons without them even being aware that their is a message to be learned. Later it is amazing how many times, one of them has said, remember when Michelle did..., or Stephanie said...so they really do get the meanings as well.

    Good family show

Posted by: from home on 04/16/2008I got into watching the show in repeats several years ago. It was a good show, BUT not great. Cast was good, although I did NOT like the twins nor Dave’s characters Joey Gladstone. TOO MUCH REPEATS IN EPISODES OF THE SAME CARTOON VOICES. Let’s go for several points, errors, made in the show: 1. Having actors play different characters in multiple episodes 2. Repeating story lines-OK how many times did adult characters miss some event for 1 of the girls because their car broke down some place? 3. Storylines taken from other TV shows. Being a Partridge Family fan I saw they take from this show. 4. How many mothers did we have for Jesse, Danny & Joey? 5. 1st season ALL the guys were typical guys & messy. EVEN DANNY where in the later seasons he was the neat freak. 6. The famous change to Jesse’s last name. Now, as for the DVD package. I like extras. THERE ARE BASICALLY NONE. Where are cast interviews or commentary? Would have liked to have that with this package.
