Didn't Last Very Long

Posted by: from Kansas on 11/10/2012We received this karaoke machine as a gift. We noticed right off that the sound quality wasn't that great, but figured it was still a good value for the money. However, after 1 year of ownership and only using it occasionally, more serious problems have developed. All of our CD's skip badly - both graphics and music. Even brand new CD's. After hooking the machine up, we are told there's no signal/connection. It takes a lot of fiddling around with the cables to get the machine to "talk" to our TV. Quite often, it just refuses to play certain tracks. It just hangs up and won't budge. With these problems, it's pretty much useless and unreliable and not even worth giving to our children (they want to throw it out the window in frustration as well)! Time to spend some money on a quality machine, I guess.

I found it myself pretty easy to use and great that my daughter can hook it up to her iPod and sing along with her music. She is happy with it and thats are that really matters. But I feel it should be $20 not almost $70.

Good play toy for the children, since the price was so cheap. But with words overlapping makes difficult to use.

I wish I would have just got my money back. When I was at Customer Service I saw 2 of the same exact machines that others had returned. That should tell you something...Best Buy needs to discontinue the sell of this item!
