Complete a pre-installation and post-installation checklist to ensure we return your vehicle to you in the same condition as when you dropped it off
Hard wire power connection behind the dash, freeing your DC lighter outlet for alternative uses
Mount GPS receiver an agreed-upon location (with mounting bracket, if provided with GPS receiver)
Run antenna wire (if provided) through the vehicle and position antenna for optimal reception
Vacuum work area
Demonstrate GPS receiver functionality
Some installations may require additional charges*

A materials charge of $5 per vehicle will be assessed at time of installation. Standard installation does not include any vehicle-specific parts or accessories (for example, mounting kits, wiring, etc.). For a GPS receiver installation, these parts typically cost $20–$30 but will vary based upon the GPS receiver you are having installed and your specific vehicle. Additional charges for vehicle-specific parts and any non-standard installation will be assessed upon completion of the installation. If you'd like more detailed information regarding installation on your specific vehicle, find a store with an installation center and speak directly with a Geek Squad Autotech. Your Geek Squad Autotech will provide an estimate to you prior to performing work that requires an additional charge and any additional parts. See terms and conditions for further details.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Important scheduling information:
When we approve your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. You will also receive a redemption e-mail for each service you've purchased. This redemption e-mail will include a key code that will validate your order. Print a copy of this e-mail and give it to the Agent at the time of service.
Once you receive your redemption e-mail, schedule your installation in four easy steps:
Call the installation center to schedule an appointment.
Print your Geek Squad service e-mail.
Show up to have your equipment installed.
Speak to a Geek Squad Autotech for more information regarding your specific vehicle type. Service returns cannot be accepted after installation services are completed.
WHAT TO BRING
When you arrive on your installation date, remember to bring the following:
The printout of your Geek Squad redemption e-mail that shows the key code for the GPS Installation service you purchased
The GPS receiver you'd like to have installed
Any parts you may have purchased for the installation

My GPS looks great on the dash. I can tell the installer took extra time in showing as little power cable as possible which I really appreciate.
Took less than hour and was super easy to setup an appointment.
If you have a portable GPS unit and you want the power hard wired to the car, this is well worth the $50!

And i took my 2007 Honda Pilot for In-Dash GPS "Jensen VM9424" to install at Best Buy , Schaumburgh. After going there they said the $49.99 is not the right one, i need to pay $119.99. I don't understand why they charge $119.99 coz i see this $199.99 which described as "Geek Squad® - Mobile Video Overhead/Headrest Installation (Hardware Not Included)mount" is for overhead headrest installation. But the Jensen VM9424 which i took is just goes in Dash. But I paid $119.99, I don't recommend this $49.99 to anyone. And another poor service is i want to cancel this $49.99 went to customer service desk at BestBuy, Schaumburgh, One Ms. told i cannot cancel it coz i brought it online. and told me to call best buy. I did call the customer service, one Ms. spoke for such a long time then transfered my call to Accounts dept. she spoke for long time then transfered my call to other dept and another Ms. spoke and transfered my call to somewhere, i was fed up. i went back to customer service desk, this time i met a guy, who did a good by cancelling this $49.99 and refund it back to credit card. My question, when he can do it , why the first representative couldn't?
POOR SERVICE W/ POOR DESCRIPTION. I was not like this with Best Buy, Schaumburgh. I brought so many items with them, and this experience is very very BAD.
