Okay, so I bought this product back in May of 2012, I believe, and it worked well. It had great sound quality and all of my songs played excellently. However, as of late, I noticed that one end of the cord, once inserted, would play well until slightly nudged and then it would only play out of the right stereo until adjusted. Now, this isn't too much of a problem to fix unless one is driving (I own a dodge Journey '10 model and when I shift the gears (reverse, park, etc), unless the correct end is in, the song will not play in the left stereo unless I sort of twist the end in my phone) and needs to change songs, park, etc. Also, the cord is too short to stretch to the back seat which isn't too much of a problem for me, but it would have been nice for it to. If it is stretched around there, it plugs out of the hole. I would still recommend this aux cord to others because this problem is easily fixed for me by rotating the ends, as it plays flawlessly in the hole of the radio when the ends are turned. In any case, I'm keeping this cord, but the fact that this problem has arisen is cause for concern and a part of me anticipates future problems with perhaps, the other end, but until then, I'll still like this cord. :D1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Worked for about 6 months1

I purchased this audio cable to plug my MP3 player into my truck's aux jack. It worked great for about 6 months. After that I only heard sound out of the left speakers. If I adjusted the cable sometimes I could hear sound on all speakers but I heard a lot of static. At first i thought it was my aux jack and I was ready to get that replaced until I tried a different aux cable, a 2.00 cable, which works great. I no longer use this cable. It looks rugged but it's very poor quality, at least mine was.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Cost me more than the product was worth to have my iPhone fixed after the tip of the aux jack broke off into the phone. Very disappointed. Will not buy another, what if this happens to brake again but inside my car audio jack??? I could only imagine how much that repair cost would be.3 out of 3 found this review helpful.

Clarity is good but costly. The curly wire is irritating. I even returned the product0 out of 4 found this review helpful.

This is a great, affordable way to listen to crystal clear music from your iPod, iPhone, or other similar device in your car. Simply plug it in and it's working.
One caveat: the volume of the device and the volume of your stereo work independently. In order to be sure that the sound isn't too hushed, or that you don't overload your speakers, set them both on lower settings and work up from there.2 out of 4 found this review helpful.

After less than 10 uses plugged between aux in on Jeep dash radio and smartphone, the cable is intermittent on one channel. It has not been over stretched or had rough use.1 out of 2 found this review helpful.

I've had this cord for about 5 to 6 weeks and have started to use it more recently. However, starting a few days ago it cuts in and out constantly. I've realized that something is loose inside the cord and I was better off with a cheap connection for this was a total waste of money.1 out of 2 found this review helpful.
