Game feels like more an expansion pack
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is just "ok". It feels more like an expansion pack rather than a complete game. If you're an Aerosmith fan and you're familiar with their career, then the game might be for you, however, most casual players will find that alot of their commercially popular hits are missing. Therefore, the game feels a bit lacking in that aspect. Other than that, the game looks pretty much like Guitar Hero III. Except it has some Aerosmith cut scenes and some CGI animated Aerosmith characters. The game is easier than GH3 but it also feels shorter and can be passed quickly. That is where the lack of popular hits shows the flaw in the game. There are so few familiar songs that you don't really feel like popping in the game anymore once finished. Like I said, Aerosmith fans that are familiar with their career may like it, but the casual game player will not find enough in this game to be satisfying. I did get the game on sale for $9.99. I would recommend it at that price as to me, it felt like an expansion pack. Anything higher, one would have to judge based on the content whether you like the available songs.

Not the best of the GH series
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always had an issue of buying GH on the PS3 because of the lag delay that it has with the dongle and HDTV. I'm not sure what causes it but I've heard it's the TV (I have an Sony Bravia XBR4). The thing I love about this game is it finally adds the audio callibration setting, not just the touch which makes it more bearable to play. With game mode, this game has minimal lag (still noticeable though). The huge thing I have against this game was that it was too easy to beat and the fact that it still uses a dongle. In my honest opinion, this is a game you would want to rent, not purchase. After you play through it a couple times, it will just rot in your pile of "games beaten and now I don't know what to do with it besides sell it on ebay for a loss."

A Worthy Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the best investment that I have ever made. The graphics are great on the new venues, but when looking at Aerosmith in the game, its like they just jumped into your tv and say lets rock out. The computer versions of them look so real you can hardly tell if its a computer character or the real deal. I personally recommend this to any Guitar Hero or Aerosmith fan.

Great if their was no guitar hero 3
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In career mode you have to play through 30 songs and if memory serves me correct aerosmith has more than that. I think all their songs should be on the career mode or at the very least in the game, wich they are not. If you really like aerosmith then fine get the game but seriously wait till it comes down in price.

Mediocre sequel at best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unless you are a huge Aerosmith fan or just have to have every guitar hero game, don't buy this game. It's not for you. I'm just a casual listener of what i've heard on the radio from them. I've never heard most of these songs before, and they're quite easy to beat. This should have been a "track pack" only.

good game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great sequel to the blockbuster "Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rock". While playing in career mode, the game is great and has a extremely high replay value. If your just about to buy this and haven't really played a lot of guitar hero, this is a great game for you. It's a lot easier than gh 3 and gh world tour.

Ok
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually think this game is ok, but I thought that it was more on the average side of things. The venues are ok, the graphics are great, and the songs are good. Would I recommend buying it? In my opinion, it's right in the middle, so I would suggest renting it first.

Ok but Nothing Compared to GH3
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good game, but it doesn't even compare to Guitar Hero 3. It is very easy compared to the other Guitar Hero Games, and it is virtually the same thing. The best thing about this is the songs. They are good songs, but you should get GH3 over this any day.
