Very difficult to install

Posted by: Mitzim from on 06/17/2013I have bought a printer. Installed the cd. Followed the instructions. It looks like successfully installed on my computer. But it hasn't installed the hardware properly. Unfortunately it thinks I haven't installed the ink cartridges - even though I have. I have gone online, but you need to provide a ridiculous amount of information. The online instructions do provide additional information. But still not useful, and these instructions should have been on my cd. It keeps on referring me to consumer forums. I have to provide information again and scroll through a lot of useless information. I have tried getting support but unsuccessful. I will be returning the printer as I believe based on my experiences it is not fit for purpose. I will never even look at another hp product again.

Affordable, simple printer

Has good print quality, but prints pretty slow. The biggest challenge with this printer was getting it compatible with wireless and being able to print from the IPAD.
