Terrific 4-in-1 for a Terrific Price

I bought the HP 6600 with only modest expectations and was blown away by its speed, print quality, and ease of setup. It even has fairly decent cosmetics. I was also in the middle of an interstate move and my furniture and office PC had not yet arrived. All I had with me was my tablet Windows 8 computer and my recently hooked-up wireless router in the house. I was able to use the tablet to download the HP software needed for setting up the 6600. The 6600 immediately "found" my wireless router and the tablet and connected to both without a hassle. The set-up menu is on a small color LCD display on the 6600 itself. Everything worked just as it should without any fiddling. In 15 minutes the 6600 was set-up and was able to print the boarding passes I needed for the next morning. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Can't comment on photo printing or faxing capability.

HP has sent me THREE! replacements printers, all them in which the ink systems did not work. They promised to call me back and they did not call back at the specifed time. I called them back and finally they are going to ship me an empty box for the last printer I have. After that I will get a refund. Now I have all this HP inkjects and I do no want to buy a HP printer again. I do not recommend this product.

For the money this is a great printer.

Posted by: HOGFVR from Meridian, Idaho on 06/15/2013I haven't had this long but for what I paid and what I use it for it perfect for me. Print quality is very good as is the speed. I checked print cartridge prices and they are good compared to other printers in this range.
I don't use it for heavy duty printing or photo printing (I have another HP printer for that). With the WIFI other people in the house can use it now and then.
For my use, and what I paid for this I think this is a excellent choice.
