Nice printer, small, easy to use.

It does print nice, and everything works good. Having to spend an extra 140$ for battery and charger, really irritated me. But I needed a portable printer for my business. I do recommend this printer, but plan on spending some $.

LOVE this printer

It is my ancillary printer to use when I am in the living space rather than my home office (I work from the home). It has never malfunctioned in more than a year of use, is quiet and fast, with good print quality, and always feeds paper well. At first I thought the cartridge emptied quickly but I used it for 2 months after the "low ink" indicator came on before the cartridge actually ran out. I got plenty of pages out of the cartridge. My only disappointment is the price. Size was more important to me than price for this purchase so I sprang for the $250. However it has become my favorite printer (out of 4 in the house).

Trouble shooting manual says that this is a "replaceable" part. Called HP with the part #, they don't make it available to the public and couldn't give us the name of any vendor to buy it from. Found one vendor that would sell us a "refurbished" module for more than the cost of new printer.

- A:Answer The H470 is small portable and if they added a scanner to the printer it would need to be bigger. There isn't a scanning accessory...at least not yet.

Q: QuestionDoes this printer can print out tabloid size paper or larger?Needs a printer that prints more than just regular 8 by 10 paper and legal size paper. I need tabloid size as well.

- A:Answer If you need to print documents larger than 8.5x11" then the HP Officejet H470 is not't the printer for you. The maximum width of paper the H470 accepts is 8.5". A printer you may want to consider is the HP Model 5100TN Laserjet printer. The 5100TN starts at around $500.00. Good luck
