Ink is reasonably priced. but I would love to see this printer have the capability to print on wider and longer paper. Most printers have gotten away from multiple paper sizes. So for the money, I would expect to get more options from this one, rather than less. Overall, a great printer!

Great wireless Printer/

Posted by: SissySC from Nashville, TN on 05/19/2013Overall, I recommend the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus wireless printer. Set up was wonderfully easy and I am not a technical at all. I felt a bit intimidated as I started the process which in the end was easy-breezy. Pleased with quality of documents produced and print speed. Ink consumption good. If for in-home use you will need adequate desk space for the unit. Beware the noise factor when printing--pretty annoying. I've had this unit for about 1 month now and other than the noisy operation am very pleased.

Great all around printer

Set up was quick and easy and using it as a scanner was simple as well. I would look at this printer before you buy any other.

Great home office/personal printer

We appreciate that this printer has a large, easy to read control panel and that it is much faster and quieter than our previous multi-purpose printer that died a sudden death after years of service. The HP 8600 Pro also has a much larger paper tray that is convenient but best of all, are the double-sided printing/copying, and wireless printing which work perfectly. We had a tough time coming up with something that wasn't so great about our new printer and settled on the fact that it does take up a good amount of counter space. We'd recommend that you check out the dimension specifications if planning a purchase. We are very happy with our purchase.

Good Product - Bad Software

I do not need any of the bloatwares. Please, have a third party just write good drivers for you guys. I have been saying this for years. Your softwares are a bagfull of problems.
