I love the size of the phone and the windows phone OS. Very easy to use but I am already familiar with the windows phone. It has a great camera! It's very light too!- Age : 45-54

Phone has met my expectations and value rating. I use it for nearly all my needs. it replaces my camera, alarm, and gps. It is really convenient having the world at my fingertips.- Age : 45-54

Great phone, but dropped it shortly after purchase and you guessed it...cracked the screen. I bought this knowing it could not be fitted for a case but the advertisement was that it didn't need one due to its improved design...not the reality. Now I'll have to look through broken screen for another two years.- Age : 15-17

A great alternative to the Android Phone5

I dislike Apple products and I have enjoyed using Windows for as long as I remember. I originally planned on buying a Droid when we switched providers, but then I saw the Windows 8X by HTC. It was beautiful, original in color and design (I have the blue but had initially wanted the firefly yellow), so incredibly easy to use, and has a great interface. I have Windows 8 on my home computer, and from the phone, it was unreasonably easy to set up the SkyDrive to share all of my pictures, videos, documents... I can access my phone from my computer and vice-versa, as long as I have set the things I want access to up on the SkyDrive beforehand. It has a decent amount of storage space and really outstanding picture/sound quality.
The only thing I have found that I dislike about the phone itself is that, being on the Windows operating system and thus not on the Droid or iTunes marketplaces, there are comparatively few apps available. Sure, there is an app for just about anything, but they aren't the same apps we all know and love from both Apple and Android. You have to weed through a lot of sub-par apps to get to the good ones.
That being said, I love my new phone. I've had about a month and a half to play with it, and I love it more now than I did the day that I got it. I would definitely recommend this fun, unique phone to anyone who asked.- Age : 18-24

So far since I bought it over a month ago its been a great phone love the screen size great audio I wish the battery lasted longer but then again as much as I use it in both business and a personal phone it exceeds my expectations HTC and windows made a great phone with a great price :)2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

The Windows 8X is a beautiful looking phone. I enjoy the different color options. The sleek design and slimness makes the 8X feel and look great in the palm of my hand. The screen is bright. This phone runs fast and works smoothly. I love the camera quality and the front wide angled lens is perfect for taking selfies! My only complaint about this phone is that there are a lack of apps (Instagram) which Windows Mobile is mostly to blame. Other then that I would recommend this phone to anybody. I think this is also a great "Mom phone" for a first time smart phone user!- Age : 18-24
