What if I forgot to enter my member ID on an order?
If you placed an order and didn't enter your member ID, you can still receive points for your purchase. Sign in at My.BestBuy.com and select Report missing points. Or call 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289).
I think there is an error in my points. What should I do?

I'm having trouble adding my member ID to my BestBuy.com account. Can you help me?
If you're having trouble adding your My Best Buy member ID to your BestBuy.com account, it could be due to a couple of things:
1. Your member ID can only be saved to one BestBuy.com account at a time.
If your member ID is already saved to another person's account (e.g., your spouse's), or to another account of your own, you must delete it from that BestBuy.com account first. Go to My Account to add or remove your member ID.
2. Some older member IDs contain fewer than 10 digits.
If your member ID is one of these, you'll need to add zeros in front of the number so it totals 10 digits.
