Product Availability

You can see a product's in-store or online availability in several places:

  • Product list page
  • Product description page
  • Your cart

To see which stores currently have an item in stock, or to check availability at a specific store, click on Check Stores.

Online vs. Store Selection

Product selection on BestBuy.com may vary from our retail stores. There may be limited quantities, or we may be testing certain items in select markets. Also, we can offer a broader selection online, because we ship these items directly from our distribution centers.

Backorders

If an item you've ordered is on backorder, we'll e-mail you the estimated arrival time. You can choose to wait for the item or cancel it.

If at the end of the estimated arrival time we provided you in the back order notice, the item is still on backorder, we will automatically cancel the item.

We will not charge your credit card until the item is shipped. If you used PayPal, your PayPal account was charged at the time you placed the order.

Backorders benefit from our Best Buy Price Match Guarantee. If the price drops at the time of shipment, you will automatically get the lower price.

Limited Quantities

Best Buy may sometimes limit quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions include orders placed from the same BestBuy.com account or credit card, and sometimes even orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. We reserve the right to limit quantities sold, including the right to limit or prohibit sales to dealers.

Rainchecks

BestBuy.com does not offer rainchecks for products sold online. Best Buy stores may offer rainchecks when advertised products are out of stock.
