Great first upgrade4

I was overly satisfied with the quality of the screen when watching movies. This is what we primarily use it for so its great. The speakers that are built-in aren't very good though and the sound seems trapped. We bought some cheap speakers that can plug right in and they work great.
It isn't the best for TV watching but it does the job okay.- Internet Connectable? : Don't Know

I was looking for a 32" COMBO TV for a good price and I found and bought the Hiteker. I saw goods reviews about it before I bought it. When I set it on home and turned on the fist thing that I notice was the poor sharpness and poor picture quality, you can notice the little squares on the screen on a fast scene. So, I recommend to expend little more money to have better TV.- Internet Connectable? : No

Overall this is a great tv for the price. I got it on sale for $229, you can't beat that for a 32" LED/LCD TV and it has a DVD player built in! The picture is very nice and the sound has nice seperation. The remote isn't the best quality but I use my Directv universal remote so that doesn't really matter but it works fine if you have to use it. Finding a universal code to use with a universal remote is a little tricky becuase this is an off brand TV but I found one that works well online. One of the things that appealed to me when I was looking at the features was that it was supposed to have an alarm/wake up timer which I wanted to have to wake me up in the morning but that feature is not on this model which is very dsappointing. But I've gotten over that and I am overall pleased with this tv. If you are on a budget and want a nice unit you will be happy with this one.- Internet Connectable? : Don't Know

Great, until it stopped working1

This unit was just right. The right size, very easy plug and play, decent image quality, etc. Sound could have been better. We were using it only to play dvds. The bad thing is that it stopped working after 40 days. The sound worked, the screen was completely black. Very inconvenient to have to take it back to the store. Fortunately, Best Buy gave us a refund without quibbling about it being past the 30 day store warranty. Very disappointing purchase, and now we are wary of any unit we get, anticipating the worst.- Internet Connectable? : No

The picture is just okay. The main reason I returned this item was the sound. It sounds like there is one speaker that's a tin can. I do not recommend this TV at all.- Internet Connectable? : Don't Know

This TV was rated well on the net and a good price. The poor ratings were from people that did not understand how to operate the TV, in some cases, and there were negatives for the speaker system. I had no problem with set up but the speakers are very poor. It would probably be fine in a small bedroom or for some who like their volume kept low. I purchased it to replace a TV in our living room but may change it out for our master bedroom TV.- Internet Connectable? : No
