I am just trying to learn but compared to another ukelele that I bought ealier this one sounds better and seems to be better quality. I also got this one at half price. which made it even a sweeter deal.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Ok for their price, tuner bad3

I bought these because they were on closeout; the quality is what you would expect from an inexpensive instrument. They were bought so our foster kids can learn to play. For that, they are perfect. I bought two of these kits. One instrument's wood is a lot nicer than the other. They are both just straight plain grained.
The big negatives for me are two items: 1. the electronic clamp-on tuner for one of the instruments was bad. 2. The instruments do not stay in tune very long (compared to my older 3 Ukes I have at home). But this could either be either the cheap strings they installed or a bad instrument. Time will tell as the new strings continue to break in for a few weeks.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
