I have a sony Vaio with an HDMI out but an older home theater reciever with no HDMI inputs. I was expecting only simple sound quality since it was plugged into a headphone out jack, but was surprised when the sound quality wasnt affected what so ever. I had deep base, high clarity. Great product and affordable!

Overall it gets the job done, the jacks provide a nice solid connection and don't notice any quality loss.
Overall much better than some I've bought for more money
