House: No More Mr. Nice Guy
House suspects that an ER patient with a sunny disposition has a bigger problem than was initially diagnosed. The reason: He thinks the patient is too nice.  Meanwhile, House and Amber spar over face time with Wilson; and Cuddy demands House give his team performance reviews. ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

    House: Don't Ever Change
A former music producer who had recently---and suddenly---converted to Hasidic Judaism collapses at her wedding, and House suspects that the reasons behind her sudden conversion might also have something to do with her mysterious illness. Meanwhile, Wilson is dating a woman whose personality is a lot like House's. ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

    House: Frozen
House must resort to Webcam diagnosis when a psychiatrist (Mira Sorvino) comes down with a mysterious illness while trapped at an Antarctic research station with limited medical supplies. Meanwhile, Wilson is dating someone new, and House tries to figure our who it is. He's also very upset because the hospital is now charging patients for cable TV and he can no longer watch his favorite shows in "coma guy's" room (except on Tuesdays). ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

    House: House's Head
House suffers head injuries in a bus accident that also injures dozens of others. Though dazed and confused and unable to clearly recall events prior to the crash, he has flashbacks in which he sees a fellow passenger exhibiting signs of a deadly illness. He can't recall who it was, but that's not going to stop him from trying. ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

    House: Games
While Cuddy orders House to make a hiring decision, he assigns the remaining candidates to a case involving an uncooperative, over-the-hill rock star with a history of drug abuse and civil disobedience. Meanwhile, Wilson informs a former patient whom he had previously diagnosed with terminal cancer that he is going to live. The patient does not take this as good news. ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

House: You Don't Want to Know
While the job candidates try to diagnose a magician whose heart failed during an underwater-escape act, House is determined to prove that he's a scam artist who's faking to cover up his embarrassment over nearly drowning during his act. Meanwhile, House suspects that one of the candidates has an undisclosed illness. He also pits them against one another in a challenge involving Cuddy, with the winner getting the chance to nominate two other candidates for firing. ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

    House: Ugly
A film crew follows House on the case of a teen with a facial deformity who has a heart attack during a reconstructive procedure. As the team works to diagnose him, House and Dr. Taub are at odds. House also questions why he chose the candidates he did. ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

    House: Whatever It Takes
House is recruited by the CIA to help diagnose a dying agent, but the agency doctor (Michael Michele) spearheading the case offers very little information about the agent's history or previous assignments. That means House must improvise. Meanwhile, House's six remaining job candidates question Foreman's judgment and argue over the diagnosis of a female race-car driver who passed out after a race. ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

    House: Mirror, Mirror
A mugging victim with amnesia apes people around him. He also has a protein abnormality that's turning his blood to "sludge." Meanwhile, Cuddy assigns her latest hire to be her "eyes and ears" on House's team, displeasing House considerably; and doctors around the hospital (candidates included) are betting on House's hiring decision. ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

    House: 97 Seconds
When a man in a wheelchair who fainted while crossing a street arrives at the hospital, House tells the 10 remaining candidates to divide themselves into teams. The one that diagnoses the man properly won't be fired. They split up based on gender, but one woman (Anne Dudek) opts to join the men. Meanwhile, a patient sticks a knife into a wall socket for reasons that intrigue House; and Foreman's new diagnostic team at Mercy Hospital in Manhattan faces a tough case ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

    House: The Right Stuff
A prospective astronaut has an attack of synesthesia in a flight simulator, then asks House to diagnose her off the books. House shares the case with the candidates he has rounded up to replace Cameron, Chase, and Foreman (40 of them, initially). Meanwhile, House sees his three former underlings in the hospital---or thinks he does. ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

    House: Alone
House is working solo (with some diagnostic help from a hospital janitor) as Season 4 begins. While Cuddy and Wilson nag him to hire a new team, he must treat a young woman who was injured in an explosion. But her injuries aren't what's killing her. Indeed, her repeated crises, each of which House treats successfully, seem to be caused by personal behaviors that baffle her boyfriend. Meanwhile, House's new prized possession, a 1967 Gibson Flying V guitar, is missing. ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

    House: Living the Dream
House believes that an actor (Jason Lewis) on his favorite soap opera is seriously ill after observing his symptoms on television, so he decides to intervene; Amber and Wilson have their first fight, much to House's delight; and Cuddy tries to keep up appearances when an inspector shows up unexpectedly at Princeton-Plainsboro. ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

    House: Wilson's Heart
In the conclusion of the two-part fourth-season finale, House remains held back by his bus-accident injuries as he struggles to recall the symptoms he noticed in a rapidly deteriorating fellow passenger just before the crash. House's cloudy memories from the accident also threaten his friendship with Wilson. ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

    House: Guardian Angels
While having a seizure, a funeral-home cosmetician (Azura Skye) hallucinates that she's being assaulted by one of the corpses she's working on. And later, in the hospital, she acts as though her dead mother is in the room with her. Meanwhile, Cameron offers advice to one of the seven candidates for House's team; and Cuddy hires Foreman back. ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

    House: It's a Wonderful Lie
House suspects that a mysteriously paralyzed woman (Janel Moloney) is withholding vital information---but maybe she can't help it. Meanwhile, House puts his personal stamp on the hospital's Secret Santa gift exchange. ~ Paul Droesch, Rovi

Posted by: from Charleston, SC on 12/11/2008Yes, this season is the shortest one yet, however, there is reasoning behind it. You have to watch the bonus features to find out why!!

Posted by: from Tucson on 09/09/2008This is a great season. Change is good, and with the new cast comes interesting cases, faces and ideas. There is plenty of whit, banter and serious stuff as well. The season ender was a real shocker, and it shows a side of house we have never quite seen before. Some folks will like the ending, some will not. I can't wait for the new season!

    A Must Have

Posted by: from Monterrey, Mexico on 08/10/2008This season is the best so far in the House M.D. series. Why??? because it introduces new characters (even if they aren't as good as the old ones, its good to see new faces in the show), we can see the real feellings of House for the first time, the chemistry between the characters such as Cuddy with House, House with Wilson, has had an unexpected turn (specially in the season finale). the only thing I regret is that Robert Sean Leonard didn't get a nomination for it's part as Wilson, since he had the best performance as a suporting role, not only in the season finale but in the whole series, specially with the Amber arc of the story. So, buy this one, you won't regret it

So-so start ends with a bang!

Posted by: from Riverside, CA on 07/30/2008Finally a show that wasn't hurt by the Writer's Strike! This season saw the introduction to new members of House's team, which meant that Chase and Cameron had less time on the show. Some might like the infusion of new blood or hate that their favorite character is hardly seen. Some of the episodes are just so-so, but some like "Frozen" are top notch. The entire season, and a giant reason to buy this, is the two-part finale which is not only one of the best House episodes ever, but might be one of the best television episodes ever... period. The acting alone in the episode is amazing and mind boggling why some of the supporting actors did not get nominated. A for sure buy!

    Gregory House

Posted by: from Salt Lake City, UT on 07/18/2008The only con to buying the season of HOUSE would be the, "mistery is already solved" if you are a house-atic like my self. Personally, this is not an issue - I enjoy watching the witty house. Commercial free, catch up from the missed episodes, and show off the collection of a true fan. I even named my employee Gregory House. Honesty, I strongly recommend you catch this show - I believe we have much to see in the future from FOX.
