The movie itself is very enjoyable, but Best Buy got a bad batch of movie discs. Several people got copies that would freeze or skip in their Blu-ray players.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

If you loved the first book then you will love this movie. I bought this special edition one so I'd get the DVD, Blu-Ray, Digital Copy, ect. Great book and movie. Did not care for the 3rd Book in the series and the 2nd seemed to drag on so I do not know if I will purchase/see those but this one is pretty good. Lots of action for everyone!0 out of 2 found this review helpful.

I was skeptical about watching this movie, but the hype had its relevance. In a government controlled society, two people per district are chosen as "tributes" to serve the purpose of entertaining the masses to ensure that war never takes place again. This package is a great deal because it has regular DVD and Blue-Ray DVDs. I share it with my mom who has a regular DVD player and I have a Blue-Ray DVD, we both get a movie from it.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Great movie, plot is excellent, I've already read all the books nd can't wait till the other two movies come out. I loved this package deal because it enabled us to watch it while visiting family who didn't have a blueray and for us to have a bluray copy for when we got home.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
