I Am Legend [WS] [DVD] [2007]

Seen this movie many years ago still holds its weight as a great movie! The 4K version in my opinion is the best version to watch. Nice good colors with hdr, crisp image and it looks like environment was worked on a little bit that grass look good haha!

I hear this movie is great and yes I believe it is great I am going to watch it n enjoy it a lot as will.

I AM LEGEND (2007) is a good zombie survivor story. Will Smith is literally the last man on earth. I already own the movie on Blu-ray. Best Buy priced it lower and I wanted to add the movie to my 4K Favorites. I am glad I did. This is one older movie that is so much better on 4K UHD. The opening scene of a desolate New York City shows the immediate improvement. Everything is sharper, and more detailed. The picture is brighter and with more color. There is no grain so the overall movie is cleaner and clear. The sound is DTS HD Master Audio 5.1 This is a one older movie where 4K and HDR has made a significant improvement.

You get a picture that fits a 4K screen better than a base HD blu ray.. even so it’s obvious that this isn’t a 4K master which is a given for a film circa 2007. The HDR does make for a more compelling image and offers better contrast which is where most of the hype is. Overall you’ll get a soft image that’s far from what you’d get from a native 4K image yet sharper than 1080. If you already own the blu ray, don’t double dip...if not, then sure try it out for it’s price if you’re a fan.

"I Am Legend" looks great in 4K! The picture and sound is awesome, especially when you hear sounds that should be background sounds like helicopters, dogs barking, and others; they really stand out in my home theater speakers. The picture quality is just so fantastic on a 4K OLED TV. I have watched it several times just because of how it looks.
