I put a few items in it and it worked fine for about 2 weeks, I then put about a 100 pounds of beef in it. Worked great for one more week. Then it died I lost everything, and all bestbuy would do was refund me $200 for lost food. DO NOT BUY THIS FREEZER!!!! Then my local Best buy manager just blew me off when I returned it. I will never buy anything from Bestbuy again.

perfect for the price

Posted by: familyman87 from Reno, NV on 05/10/2013i picked up this freezer for an awesome price. i was gonna get a 5.2 cu. ft. one from walmart, but this one was $10 more for 2 more cu. ft. so i jumped on it. so far i haven't had any issues. it works like a champ. and freezes all my meat fast n i have plenty of room for more.

Absolutely Awful Freezer

This freezer stopped working in less than a week. All of our frozen meats and veggies are completely thawed. Read the reviews, seems to be a common problem. Husband returned to BB without a problem this morning, but we were lucky- it had been less than a week. I'm not sure they take them back after 15 days (even with a receipt# unless you buy the extra warranty that they sell. If you take a gamble on this freezer #I suggest that you don't), then I highly suggest you purchase that warranty.
