Great Sound, Great Price!!

I use them to watch movies online and hook up my iPhone to dance to (while I'm cleaning my apt.), or working out.
I agree with the other user who said that the LED light is just a pinch too bright, other than that they are pretty good (appearance-wise). The other thing is, I was hoping that the subwoofer didn't ALWAYS have to be hooked up to the little speakers all the time. There is no alternative power cord attached to the little speakers, so I'm gonna always have to lug the subwoofer around. (oh well).
Other than that, great sound, great speakers and great buy!!

Good Quality, Good Value

The quality is really very good (high quality construction), the auxiliary input is very convenient for hooking up an MP3 player (or in my case a Sega Genesis) and the bass is quite good too. The overall look is sleek and modern and getting it set up was a breeze.
The ONLY complaint I have about this is the overly bright power LED. I don't usually worry about LED's but this one is so bright it's almost blinding. I had to cover it with a small amount of electrical tape.
Otherwise, what you get for your buck is really quite good. If you're looking for a stereo setup (2 speakers, 1 sub), you can't really go wrong with this one.

Excellent speakers for under $100

Posted by: TheDellGuy from California, USA on 04/04/2013I got these for Christmas 2012. Been using them for the past 4 months and they're great for $80. Sound quality is excellent, and has good bass. Would satisfy anyone looking for very good speakers under $100.
38W RMS is very decent for speakers of this price. Saw some Logitech Z323 speakers (which I usually prefer) for the same price but they had 8W less RMS!
Overall I like them a lot. The only thing I can't get over is why the blue LED light is SO BRIGHT! It lights up my room at night (which, is actually something I like. I can see at night.) It sucks when I'm using my computer though.

I compared these speakers to several other systems in the store, including the $400 Bose Companion 5 and this setup sounded as good if not better, in my opinion. These speakers absolutely rock with excellent bass and treble that provide awesome highs. The full range speakers are actually a 2-Way design with a midrange and tweeter. I'm very particular when it comes to sound quality, but these Insignia's have blown me away at how well they deliver excellent sound and for such an affordable price. If you're looking for a great set of speakers for your computer, Ipod, etc. then you will not be disappointed with this speaker system.

I originally bought them because i was on a tight budget. But i was so impressed with the sound quality and the base. If you are like me you like every type of music from Hip Hop to country and Rock. it can handle and make every track sound awesome! i would definitely recommend these speakers to anyone. 4 years and gong very strong and believe me i have pushed them to their limits and they keep asking for more. Greatest under $100 i have every spent!
