We formerly had two big 4 ft. floor speakers with 10 inch woofers. I resisted my wife's pleas to get smaller speakers for years. She wore me down and I got these. They are practically invisible on our dark wood bookshelves, and I can't notice any significant reduction in performance. Very pleased.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

A decent speaker at a good price for "surrounds"4

If your like me and don't want a HTiB setup then have a look at these for your rear surround speakers. I have larger front and center speakers, but I wanted something small I could mount easily in my ceiling for the rears. These are a good price, they look good and for surround speakers I think they sound great. I compared these to smaller bookshelf speakers like the Polk T15s but for almost half the price I didn't feel that the sound was that much better.
Would I purchase them to use as anything other than rear speakers? Absolutely not.
Would have been nice if they came with mounting brackets, but an additional $20 for them isn't that bad.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

These are great to use as surround speakers ! I don't know if I would recommend them as highly if you are going to use these as as set of primary speakers and I say that because there were some that reviewed them as a primary speaker. I don't think they were really meant for that. But they are a great little set surround speakers !
I use them along with my Onkyo receiver in my 7.1 system. I bought 4 to use as surround and surround back and they sound very good that way ! Really do a great job for that. Great size to mount on the wall which is why i bought them .
I had a set of Polk bookshelf speakers as my surround, but they were just a tad to big for the space on the wall that i wanted to mount them on. These fit perfectly and were easy to mount and you sure can't beat the price !
I am very happy with them as surround speakers !6 out of 8 found this review helpful.

I've looked at quite a few speakers lately and these are really good for the money. They are no Bose. Bose are hundreds of dollars though. For the price these cannot be beat IMO. Especially not for new ones. I like their shape and the ability to mount them is nice. I use these in my bedroom and I would highly recommend them for non surround sound use. If you have an entertainment system, invest in something better. For Bedroom and/or home office these work great for the money. Oh and they do not have a subwoofer so not that much bass in them. Again using them in my bedroom at night so I do not want a lot of bass.3 out of 3 found this review helpful.
