The picture is great, but at full volume the sound leaves a lot to be desired. I attempted to hook it up to an older model high end receiver only to then realize that the TV only has digital optical audio output - not compatible with the receiver. Purchasing a converter - hope it works. Wireless apps work, but I don't really use them at this point. Overall a decent value for the price. Would recommend if in the market for an inexpensive entry level HDTV.

Posted by: ccchavez from bakersfield, ca on 05/06/2013Bought this as my starting out TV. i'm very happy with this TV and i got a great deal on it. i will deffinitely be looking at insigna when i buy my next tv. it was easy to set up and it has a crisp clear picture. i've read reviews that say the sound isnt great but i dont find a problem with the sound at all.

The picture is absolutely great! the built-in speakers get the job done, but not home theater, but what tv would? I am happy I bought the TV especially since I got it really cheap. The picture is so good that I would compare it to samsung.
