Awesome price for a 50 inch led HDTV

I do not need advanced features that come with HDTVs these days since they won't be able to use it. This tv is just for watching without fancy features. Quality and sound is okay for the price. If you are looking for big secondary tv then this will suit the bill.

Awesome for the price

Posted by: thecooldk from SLC, UT on 06/14/2013So far so good. TV and stand were easy to setup and get going. Light enough to move easily. Built-in sound is sufficient for my needs. When you turn it on via remote, it takes at least two to five seconds to turn on (not a big deal, just seems like it would be instant). It has PC input, which is great. It has no composite inputs, so if you have any old gaming systems to hook up, you have to do component or RF.
I mentioned the automatic input detection is kind of funny. On one hand, this is useful because when changing your input source, you don't have to shuffle through a list of all possible sources. It will highlight and travel through the ones it detects. This means if your device is off, you can't select that input yet. You need to turn the device on and make sure the TV knows that it is on. I don't know if this could be a problem in the future, but it just means that you have to make sure to power on your input device BEFORE changing the TV input.
