The picture even made HGTV look better, which is almost impossible in my world (the wife's favorite channel). I shopped around and for the price you cannot beat the picture quality.

Blue Rays, and regular DVDs look amazing, the picture is the best feature of the tv, watching Netflix is great on a big nice screen, and PS3 games image is just amazing.
I really recommend this TV if you're looking for great picture quality, sound, and affordable.

We did get a sound bar and we mute the internal speakers. We have a home theater with a projection tv, but we are opting to watch this one more and more.

Ok if you have HD Cable or Sat

Posted by: Wackey from Utah on 05/16/2013This tv is nice and big, has a good picture when watching in HD, but if you have regular digital cable it made me feel like I was watching and old big screen tv, the picture is not crisp, my 42" sanyo has a better picture when watching cable than this tv so Im keeping the old and returning this one.
