Got this for my kids who love to sing. the mic cable assembly broke within 2 weeks from them pulling on it. Oh well, I can fix that. Other than that, it's a great product.2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

A great "starter box" for youngsters six to sixty5

Our twin grand daughters --age six and a bit-- have been giving one of these units --Santa's gift to them-- a daily workout for the past month.
The fact that it is still on their "Favorite Toy" short list tells me that the units' designers "hit the sweet spot" with regard to overall functionality, quality of the output sound, ease of setup/use and choice of karaoke song libraries supported by the unit.
The fact that it is still working after said month of heavy use attests to the unit's durability.when handled with reasonable care.
But do not think that this is just a toy. When the kids are in bed their parents come out for their turn to play.
Overall conclusion: A great little portable unit. perfectly sized for practice or use at smaller parties.2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

I am pleased with this purchase. It's very lightweight, so keep it on a sturdy base during use, and be extra careful during transport from one location to another. I strongly recommend using a surround sound system, it will make the "karaoke experience" a lot more fun.4 out of 4 found this review helpful.

Got this for a 12th birthday party and the girls used it all day and all night without adult help. It stood up to kid style CD changes and we thought the sound was great. After passing the mic for hours they put it down and all just sang together without amplification. Will use at office for holiday sing along. Great product!7 out of 7 found this review helpful.

Would not work properly when hooked to tv & stereo1

I purchased this to have karaoke at a party and everytime I would get it hooked up to the tv/stereo it would mess up. The mic was lagging and sounded awful! I even purchased xtra equipment thinking it was how everything was hooked up but that didn't work either. Thank goodness I was able to borrow a friends for the party & the one I borrowed worked just fine. Also, I figured because we have a new Insignia tv that maybe they would work well together but they didn't. Cheaply made...waste of money & time:(2 out of 4 found this review helpful.

This is the first karaoke machine I have ever purchased. Used it for a party and worked perfectly. I did use my outdoor stereo sound system to improve quality. The speaker system with the product is OK but not clear or loud enough for outdoor party. Very easy to set up, connect, and use. Highly recommended for the price.6 out of 6 found this review helpful.
