It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Gets Racist
In the premiere episode of FX's raunchy sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the viewer is introduced to Paddy's Irish Pub co-owners Mac (Rob McElhenney), Charlie (Charlie Day), Dennis (Glenn Hoowerton), and Dennis' sister Dee (Kaitlin Olson). Lately, the business at Paddy's hasn't been so good, and the gang is eager to bring in some new clientele. Realizing that the best way of increasing their profile is to advertise, the owners of Paddy's agree to hire Dee's acting friend Terrell as their new spokesman. Later, after Charlie and Mac make some insensitive remarks that smack of racism, the pair launches a concerted effort to prove that they aren't prejudice. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Charlie Wants an Abortion
A girl from Charlie's past appears claiming that the pair once had a child and it's time for Charlie to take responsibility. Meanwhile, Mac and Dennis head out to an anti-abortion rally in hopes of meeting some girls. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Charlie Got Molested
The gang's former elementary school teacher has just been accused of molesting a student, and in the wake of that revelation Charlie becomes especially sensitive. Meanwhile, Mac deals with the announcement in his own peculiar way as Dennis and Dee argue over how to help Charlie. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Finds a Dead Guy
Smitten with the pretty granddaughter of a patron who recently died while drinking at Paddy's, Mac and Dennis pretend that they were close friends with the old man. Meanwhile, Dee attempts to overcome her intense fear of senior citizens by dragging Charlie along to visit her grandfather in the nursing home. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Gun Fever
The safe in the bar has been stolen, prompting Dennis and Mac to purchase a pistol and go gunning for the thief. Meanwhile, Charlie's disgruntled landlord attempts to collect rent and Dee feigns interest in firearms in order to connect with her smarmy boyfriend Colin. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Charlie Has Cancer
Mac and Dennis are convinced that Charlie has cancer, and in order to ease their old friend's anguish they try and find a girl to sleep with him. As the search for a willing woman intensifies, Mac falls for a pretty transsexual named Carmen and Dee tries convincing Dennis that they need more help at the bar. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Underage Drinking - A National Concern
Realizing the potential for profit in tapping the elusive underage drinking market, the gang lowers the legal drinking age at Paddy's under the guise of providing youngsters with a safe place to get plastered. Later, after Dee begins dating a popular high school jock, Charlie, Mac, and Dennis do their best to score a date for the upcoming prom. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Charlie Gets Crippled
Charlie is rendered wheelchair-bound following a nasty accident, and as the gang attempts to figure out how to get the most mileage out of their recently-crippled friend Dennis and Dee's estranged father Frank (Danny DeVito) makes an attempt to reconnect with his long lost children. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Goes Jihad
The owner of the bar next door stops by Paddy's to announce that his property line reaches right to the middle of their establishment, and as a result half of the bar will be demolished. Later, as the gang resorts to extremes in order to save the bar, Frank discovers that his wife is in town. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Dennis & Dee Go on Welfare
Frank has become too much to handle, leaving Dennis and Dee with no other option than to quit their jobs and go on welfare. As a result, the weight that Dennis and Dee would help to carry is shifted directly over to Mac and Charlie. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Mac Bangs Dennis' Mom
After Barbara hook up with Dennis in an attempt to make Frank jealous, Dennis becomes obsessed with the idea of revenge through bedding Mac's mom. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Hundred Dollar Baby
Dee has been mugged, and now Frank is going to teach his daughter how to box so she can defend herself on the streets. Upon arriving at the gym, Frank spots his old boxing adversary and an old rivalry is reignited for the next generation. Meanwhile, Dennis and Mac scheme to make some quick cash by entering Charlie into an underground fighting competition. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Exploits a Miracle
When the gang discovers a stain on the office wall that bears an uncanny resemblance to the Virgin Mary, Charlie, Dennis, and Frank scheme to exploit the Biblical blemish for all its worth. Mac and Dee have serious reservations about the scam, and later Dee runs into a person from the past who stirs forbidden feelings deep within her. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Dennis & Dee Get a New Dad
When Dee receives a message from a man claiming to be her real father, she and Dennis rejoice at the idea that they may not be Frank's offspring after all. Meanwhile, Mac pays a long overdue visit to his father, who is currently serving an extended prison sentence. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Charlie Goes America All Over Everybody's Ass
An argument over the constitution has led the gang to run Paddy's as an establishment where moral and behavioral boundaries no longer exist. Meanwhile, Frank takes advantage of the situation by opening a dangerous gambling ring in the bar, and Charlie attempts to display his love for America by performing on the street with Dee - who uses the situation as an opportunity to display her finely tuned acting skills. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

    good price for two seasons
    5
Posted by: from Seattle WA on 01/14/2011I love this show. Absolutely hilarious! This is a good price for two seasons together, however after buying this product and watching it I had to buy seasons 3-5. I ended up buying the pack with seasons 1-5 plus it's a very sunny christmas because it was cheaper to buy the entire pack (even though I already had 1 and 2) than it was to buy seasons 3,4,5 seperately. If you already know that you love this show, I would suggest just buying the pack with seasons 1-5 and save some money.

    Second season revs up

Posted by: from Tallahassee FL on 09/29/2010I resisted watching because too many people told me watch it. Yeah, I know. I'm always a few years behind, sneaking back to listen to TV On The Radio, to get Observe & Report from Netflix, and to watch It's Always Sunny. Someday I'll learn. If you haven't watched this show yet because too many kids recommended it, give in and don't even sneak around about it.

Posted by: from USA on 09/15/2010I always heard good things about this show but thought it was just hype....I couldn't have been more wrong! This is one of my all time favorite comedy shows!!! You just have to see it to believe it! And I love the fact that Charlie and the Waitress are married in real life!

Posted by: from Richmond, TX on 08/16/2010I love the Sunny In Philadelphia Series and If you haven't seen every single episode well then you need to buy them. I don't really like buying TV series because I only end up watching them once but this is something that you can watch over and over and over.....

Posted by: from Chicago, IL on 07/24/2010This show is completely irrelevant and I love it. This is in the Seinfeld vein but with no regard for any taboos. Bar the door and keep the children away.

Posted by: from Bremen, GA on 02/24/2010The show is great. I really enjoy the characters and story lines. Only bad thing was that it was on backorder for over a month, but that is only a testament that so many people wanted to get the dvd at the great price bestbuy.com was selling it for.

    I laughed too much

Posted by: from Minneapolis, Mn. on 09/21/2009I laughed so hard watching the episodes that I got cramps the next day. DVD comes with a lot of episodes so I felt like I got my money's worth. The extras (lo-fi test of concepts) are not so great but with the amount of content already provided you don't really need extras. I would compare this show to Curb Your Enthusiasm in it's hilarity. I'm not sure why it's not a huge sensaton yet. After watching all of these youwill want to by the rest of the available seasons on DVD.

    Awesome

Posted by: from California on 01/07/2009One of the funniest shows on TV. Two and a Half Men has nothing on Sunny. If you've never seen it your missing out! The show was funny in the first season. But since they added Danny Devito its been HILARIOUS. Mac is the greatest in it with his tagline everytime he walks in the bar. "What's uo Bi**hes. Love Charlie's voice when he gets mad. Anyways buy it you will love it!!
