This JBL speaker has incredible quality. I was so happy when I pulled it out of the packaging I started using it in my car. It's pretty great until you come to the features. It has it's own independent volume control, however for when you are playing music their are no skip, play/pause button. If I had those features on this, it would make it the best. Still great over all sound experience.- Type of Listener : Audiophile

I tried to read as many of the other reviews as possible, and most seem honest. I use an iPhone 5 with mine and take the JBL Flip with me almost constantly. NEVER have I had a problem pairing with the iPhone or any other cell phone, which happens when people stop and ask me questions about the great sound and where the heck is it coming from! Look, bottom line; I have tried some of the Flip's competition; NONE measured up, and as one other reviewer stated, it is a durable device.4 out of 4 found this review helpful.

I was looking for a portable wireless little speaker, so I can pair with my labtop, ipad, itouch, and iphone. I looked at many in the store from jawbone which is same price n a little smaller bout sounds horrible. i even looked at the beats and thought they gotta be good cuz of the beats headphones i bought me and my son. And they cost $200. But this speaker is the best sounds real loud and clear anddd has good bass. easy to use with wireless or cord your choice. has a nice lil case to protect it. And just clearly the best speaker by far nice and small. I take it in the shower and basement when i exercise. but my favorite is watching movies on my labtop or ipad and have this little speaker like if its a stereo system.- Type of Listener : Audiophile

This is the best Bluetooth speaker I could find for this price level. Sound comparable to beats and I think is better than the jawbone. Volume level is great. Other speakers would not go loud at all and were not very useful. Wish the battery life could be longer and one feature offered by another device was to be able to switch between two devices easily. My wife and I both use it and we have to turn Bluetooth off on one and then power off and power back on the speaker to switch to the other phone. Highly recommend this speaker.- Type of Listener : Avid listener

Little Speaker Big Sound5

Needed a speaker system for my mp3 player and decided on this one. Looked at various models at various price ranges from $50-$200. Wanted a speaker system that had good sound and a good build. I also wanted something that didn't take up a lot of room. Narrowed my selections down to models that had 1" dual speakers. Found this model and noticed it had 1.5" dual speakers. I deduced that a slightly larger speaker would produce better sounds. Read up on it and found others were pleased. Ended up buying this model and I'm very happy with the purchase. Sounds good and feels like quality all the way around. I didn't spend too much either!- Type of Listener : Casual listener

I was looking at all sorts of bluetooth speakers at Best Buy one day, had every intention of buying the Beats Pill. I was playing with it when a BB employee came up to me and started talking to me and with his help he saved me $100 dollars. When compared the JBL Flip blew the Beats Pill out of the water! The Flip only costs $100, the Pill is $200. If you want good, loud sound quality then look no further! The volume this little speaker can reach is amazing. One flaw I have found is the range, It's not terrible but notable once you start moving the speaker further from your music device. Amazing buy for the price!- Type of Listener : Avid listener

I felt compelled to write this review immediately upon using this little dynamo.
Wow. That's really all I can say about this speaker.
Its about the size of one of those new "slim" beer/soda cans. It comes with a carrying pouch and an AC adapter (the thing is rechargeable too!).
The sound is incredible; I couldn't even turn it all the way up. Clear, powerful sound, not the type of sound you would expect from something so small and compact.
I couldn't believe this was only $100. If this is in your price range, don't even waste your time looking at anything else. Go out an buy this right away.- Type of Listener : Avid listener

You can't beat the size and price in comparison to its counter parts. Loved the sound quality! But unfortunately it did no reach very far with its Bluetooth. I literally have to keep it 1 feet away or it'd begin to crack and lose signal. I will be returning it tomorrow and trading it in for a speaker with a dock to avoid further issues.3 out of 7 found this review helpful.

I wanted a small speaker for both my iPhone and iPod but didn't want a bulky dock. I love this little speaker. It has much better volume control and sound than any others I tested at the store.
