Unbelievable sound quality, unbelievable price

You have to hear this little gem to believe that something so small could have such amazing sound quality. I think they may sell out because I am telling everyone I know about them. So get 'em while you can! You can also buy many of them and connect them together. Music sounds awesome and I can finally catch up on my shows while running the bath water. You can use this with your iphone as well for music or for hands free conversations you can actually HEAR! Run and get one right NOW!!!

Best bang for the Buck!

Posted by: Suade907 from IL on 05/13/2013Ok, so I bought this for my daughter. We currently have a logitech wireless boombox for Ipad in our living room. My daughter uses it with the bluetooth functionality with her phone all the time. While the Logitech is kind of large and unwieldly. She can't exactly take it with her wherever she goes. But she uses it so often that when I saw this little gizmo I thought she might like it and would be able to take it to her friends and so on. So long story short we bought one and have been using it for a solid week now. It's a very good device and the sound is remarkable for such a small speaker. It will fill a bedroom with sound no problem and still offer a pretty high level of volume. If you push it to loud it will distort slightly but at a decent listening level the device is crystal clear and even has some bass which I was surprised about. Overall for her it is a perfect device as she can take it just about anywhere and listen with her friends and so on. With the loop shaped top you can easily use a clip on hook and attach it pretty much anywhere even a bicycle handlebar. Compared to our Logitech unit, the logitech offers a fuller sound with more volume and better bass but it's much much bigger. The JBL is remarkable for it's size and the battery life for us has been very good thus far.

In a class by itself

It's big brother the Flip beats it (and just about everything else in this price or size range) on audio quality and overall volume, no doubt. But while the Flip is still quite small, it's definitely considerably bigger than the Micro Wireless, and the need for the power adapter reduces its portability further. Other speakers in the $100-$150 range merely match the Micro Wireless on audio quality - they don't beat it, to my ears - and none are as portable or as inexpensive.
The Micro Wireless fits in my small soft-sided briefcase without making a bulge like a snake that has eaten a rabbit, and it sounds very noticeably better than any other comparably sized or priced speaker I've tried. The inclusion of the built-in 1/8" cable further increases its usefulness for sharing the device, as I often do. I am a music teacher who works in a number of locations that have no sound systems, so my students and I use this speaker to listen to recordings during our lessons and classes.
For the combination of portability, audio quality, and price, the Micro Wireless is not just the best in its class - it's really in a class by itself.

Posted by: skippyday from on 01/17/2013From a speaker this size i couldnt be happier with the superb sound quality it produces, the sound is full and it actually produces quite a bit of bass surprisingly. Also the fact that its wireless is awesome. I can put it in any room and walk anywhere in the house and still here the music from afar and still carry my phone with me unattatched t,o a wire. Jbl did a great job with this. Definitly worth payin the little extra for the wireless version

Amazing sound for the price

The sound quality is amazing and more than adequate for my needs. I just want to listen to the music from my smart phone thru bluetooth at my desk or on travel. I find myself using it at home just sitting around because it's easier to set up then turning on the tv and wireless to listen to pandora. The controls are simple and well designed. This speaker rocks!

Superb wireless portable speaker

The sound is superb and very unexpectant for such a small device. I have a massive Denon/Definative Tech system in my home that is set up for airplay, but sometimes find myself just listening to the JBL micro. Don’t expect to get bose (portable) sound out of this thing, but for $60 none of the others even come close.
