Posted by: Bcrowe from on 05/15/2013Tried the Bose soundlink and it sounded good but the battery life was just average, tried the beatbox by dre. but had connection issues and it doesn't have a rechargeable batter, but the big jambox is awesome. The battery life is crazy. It's lasted a couple days on one charge. Plus you can download different voices and control your music from the jambox.

I finally bought one when it went on sale, and have been using it almost daily ever since. I didn't even know it was wireless but that may be its best feature. I have used it for days on a single charge. Sounds great for listening to music and podcasts and can be easily taken with you from room to room.

It fills up my entire back yard with superb sound! I can use this product everywhere... the park, the yard, at work, all day and the battery never dies. Oh, did I mention the sound quality? EXCELLENT! Even at way-too-loud volume. I use this daily and take it everywhere with me! YOU WILL NOT REGRET BUYING THIS SPEAKER!

Wanted something portable with good sound...

I'm the kind of person who likes to have get togethers with friends in my backyard, have a fire and some drinks, and relax. I used to drag stereos outside onto my deck via extension cords and it would turn into a big mess. Not ONLY is this thing portable, AND bluetooth, but it gets amazing battery life on a full charge. No joke, this thing is perfect. Doesn't matter what kind of music you're into, the Big Jambox sounds great no matter what.

Unless like 200 people got paid to write good reviews then i made a good choice!! This dock has an incredible battery life.. Ive been listening to it for days and its still got about 30 percent left!! Being able to cut the cord is proceless!! I love being able to control it with my iphone. I couldnt believe i spent 300 bucks on it and felt so guilty in line to pay for it. I couldnt wait to turn it on and see if all the reviews made it a justified decision.. after i got home and had to wait 2 more hours for it to charge.. I finally fired it up and socks were literally blown off!!! Its perfect to bring anywhere!! Great purchase!!

Posted by: Deanoz32 from on 02/12/2013Big jam ox blows bose soundlink out of water louder and clear I have iPhone went to App Store paid 4.00 for app called audio xciter made box twice as loud and twice as clear used it with bose sound link turned it up loud sounds awful trust me u can't go wrong with big jam bow same price as bose + has an awesome speaker phone and other things battery life 12 hours still going bose 4 hours tops hope this helps

Finally decided to get this after reading mostly positive reviews. And was able to hear it in action, but in a very loud/crowed store. I have to say, I was shocked right away by the sound quality and especially the amount of bass that comes from this thing. I listen to a wide range of music. But mostly classic rock and heavy metal. And so far everything sounds great. The Bluetooth connection is fairly strong, I was able to walk about 3 rooms away with my connected Galaxy S3 phone before it had any issues. I have started using in my truck in place of the radio as well. I have a fairly long commute to and from work everyday. And it is nice having this as an option for music. The only "negative" thing I have to say about it is that the "Live" audio mode is so far useless. I have tried it on several styles of music, and with different EQ settings. And cannot find a reason to use it. Other than that, this speaker is perfect for me. Only wish I had some sort of carrying case for it.
