This digital TV converter box converts digital TV broadcast signals to analog broadcast signals and is compatible with most analog televisions and recording devices. The converter box works with Smart Technology antennas for wide-ranging compatibility.

Terrible Product and/or warranty1

I bought my first KCPI DT504 Converter box from Best Buy. It went out within 7 months. I bought a second DT504 from Best Buy thinking the first one was over 1 yr old (out of warranty but it turned out not to be).The second box went out in under ONE month. I tried calling the alleged customer service number never to get a person only voicemail. They never called back. I was never able to get warranty support for either box. These converters are not worth the price Best Buy is asking much less the money Amazon is asking. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

quit working after a few months. Getting help by phone was impossible. At first the connection was so poor I could not hear the person speaking, and then got shunted offf somewhere and was told the inbox was ful Ugh1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

This product does what it's supposed to do. It is easy to install works well. I initially used my old analog antenna and picked up about 14 channels, after purchasing an updated antenna I was able to get about 50 channels.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

It was easy to set up, easy to use EXCEPT for having to adjust and move the antannae for different channels!! (Throw back to the 1950's!)
Even with the better quality, higher priced antannae.
Once you get up and adjust antannae for channel you want to see, the reception is clear, good quality.
What was good were the extra channels, 2 or 3 stations on each channel#1 out of 2 found this review helpful.

Worst box in the world I owned it since nov 2012 and already sent it back to them once for it not turning on and I had to pay $25 to send it and have them send me a new one and that was only 43 days ago and now it's doing it again and they want me to pay to send it again. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT BEST BUY SHOULD NOT BE SELLLING THIS2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

Whatever You Do, Dont BUY. It worked good for the first couple of weeks , lets say 2 weeks and now its get going off it freezes, when you turn the channel now its cuts off completly. its horrible2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

No Remote Codes. If remote fails product is useles1

I have items purchased over 10 years ago that will work with a universal remote. This item works only with remote. If remote is damaged or lost you can not use it with a universal remote because the company (KCPI) does not have remote codes for the product. I asked the company why this was and she admitted that it must be to sell more remotes. Best Buy purchaser should be made to work for KCPI as a customer service rep to better understand his/her mistake.4 out of 4 found this review helpful.

I've had it for over a month with poor preformance. It will either not turn on or it freezes on 1 station. The longest it's worked is 2.5 days.3 out of 3 found this review helpful.
