I have them in my 2003 Acura MDX which is a mid size suv and they shake everything! I have them hooked to a 1100 watt cheap boss amp and no complaints! I was going to my buddies house the other day and turned them up...he heard me coming at the top of the road, while he was in his house! Great setup! Go for it!

Posted by: KrisM783 from on 08/18/2012These bump pretty loud. Got a 2400w 2 channel Legacy Amp at half power and they are louder than my single 12" Boss 1800w sub that was in my truck before. Wasnt expecting to have them wired together only needed 1 speaker wire. Kinda works out cuz i only bought them cuz i thought my Boss sub was blown. But it wasnt. One of the channels on my amp blew. So i only have 1200w going to them. But d*mn they are loud

Unmatched Speaker and Enclosure Quality

Posted by: jwill90 from NC on 07/05/2012I own Kicker subs, door speakers, and an amp. These speakers hit VERY hard for 10". Not only that, but they are so clean and the frequency Hz range is amazing. Try to find many other sub woofer companies that can match a variety of frequency as 25-500hz. This paired with my 750w Mono Class D Kicker Amp sounds incredible and I would not trade it for any other piece of equipment. I recommend this with a Kicker amp w/ bass knob, and a radio with custom frequency EQ settings. Kicker products are the best bang for your buck.
My music genres include: Pop, Classical, 80s Rock, Dubstep, and Hip Hop.

Great for the price

I could not face them to the rear as recommended because I carry items for work in my trunk. Instead I angled them up towards the rear deck. It was the only way to get the space I needed. No matter, they sound great! I am running them with an Alpine 500W mono and there is plenty of base sound to go around. Sub controls on the deck are set at 50% and the amp itself at 60% with plenty of room to go if I wanted too. The problem with cranking it up though is these get so loud its going to rattle my rear deck loose!

Pretty good sub, but not like Kenwood

These subs are decent for the price but however if you are looking for the best bang for your buck, go with Kenwood. Believe me you wont regret it.
