Amazing Quality Great Entertainment Speakers

Posted by: SpitfirePilot from Denver, CO on 05/13/2013I'll keep this short and sweet. The sound quality from these Klipsch speakers is amazing. Even while watching Netflix movies they feel and sound very cinematic.
The base is very good, maybe better than the speakers.
My concern: I setup the speakers no problem following the instructions to the "T". I set the computer systems internal sound to 70% as the instructions suggested and set the speakers themselves to below 30% area on the dial. That plays well loud enough, these things can get loud!! Now I hear a bit of static after one use when watching Netflix movies. I'm not sure if I've already blown the speakers out or what. I don't see how by following the instructions for the sound settings right on I could already be hearing a bit of static? Maybe its just Netflix because in during gaming they sound fine.

Excellent speakers for the price

I want clear, fantastic sound when I listen to my music and when I watch movies or TV shows on my computer, and that is what these deliver. I don't have to turn up the subwoofer or the main volume very high, that's how sensitive this system is. I experimentally turned the sound up all the way to see what would happen, and there was no distortion or rattling or any other type of disturbance to the sound quality. They have lived up to the hype. I love these speakers!
NOTE: A co-worker who works in our IT dept told me that I got a good deal but not the best deal for the price. He also said that the heavier the speakers and the subwoofer, the better, and there is definite weight to this system. One more comment he made was that these are a little more professional grade than one really needs for computer speakers. Given all this, I believe I got an EXCELLENT DEAL. Not too cheap and not too expensive. I have only been using them for two months, but the quality is evident and I use them daily. If you want better than average speakers for your computer without spending a fortune, get these. They are worth every penny.

Posted by: downfallen from Austin on 05/11/2013If I am not playing anything I have to unplug these boat anchors or the very loud static will drive me crazy. My cheapie Logitech didn't have this problem.
I sold stereo gear in the 70's and 80's and Klipsch had a great name. Mine have another name now. Worthless.

My friend recommended me this set of speakers. not only they cost less then the Samsung brand. They sound better than most other brands. i can use them with my PC, I even hooked them to my Samsung TV " not even the Air-track crystal clear" bar sounded as good as this set. They really delivers great sound quality.
Its a Must buy

Considering 2nd unit for portable studio monitor

I'm considering purchase of a second unit to serve as a portable studio monitor-type application for the playback of woodwind ensemble rehearsal recordings. The sound of these speakers is so true, we will get a realistic appraisal of our tone quality, dynamics, and blending using good quality condenser mics and a Tascam digital recorder. The praise for this speaker is justified.
This Klipsch has the specs and sound quality of a studio monitor pair selling for over twice the price of this unit.
