Spend the money...its well worth it

Wasn't sold on it at first because what was playing through didn't sound as full as I wanted. But an associate brought out there phone and connected it with rcas. Fast 6 Trailer sounded amazing and I was sold

Sounds great for what it is

Some of them had been damaged, so we didn't really have 5+1 sound anyway. The unit was easy to install and set up. Remember to remove the clear plastic covers on the optical wire! Just about drove me crazy that they wouldn't fit - then I figured out why - the instructions don't tell you about the covers. I guess they assumed that I already knew. The unit includes all the wires you will need.
Anyway, the sound is good, but its not 3D. We used to have a surround sound receiver and speakers everywhere. It was great, except when the wires got tangled in something or we had to move the system for cleaning, etc. Now we don't have that problem. It is a sacrifice that I'm happy to make today. If you want the full sound experience, get out your checkbook and spend some $$. If you want good sound without all the hassle, get this.
